Today, Jack joins Archangel Gabriel in a confrontation with a beast-like man brazenly approaching the Gold Brick Road.
JACK FRONTS THE LUKEWARM

The Gold Brick Road: This is the pathway of the indwelling life of authentic born-again believers.
The Dark Forest: This is the dark depraved world belonging to God’s greatest enemy, which we call “Captain Book” of the Tree of Knowledge.

The City of Zion: This is the Kingdom of God’s New Jerusalem.
The Lion of Judah: This is the resurrected Jesus Christ.

NARRATOR: In Jack’s last journey, he started a discussion with the people standing next to the gold brick road who pretended to be believers. There was also a group of true, born-again, indwelt believers standing on the gold brick road, but they were listening, and they were actually believing the lies that these people were telling them. Jack then called upon the great city of Zion to send the great Archangel Gabriel to his side. When Gabriel arrived, he spoke in Jack’s ear, and he asked Jack to call upon the mind of Judah inside him and told him that he would actually be responsible for opening the minds of some of these false believers while the majority of them would be chased into the dark forest. But as we’ve learned in past adventures, this is not always done without a fight.
Right after Jack spoke to this group standing next to the gold brick road, the dark forest became as dark as possible. Screaming and groaning started coming out of the dark forest, and in the distance, in the dark forest, an image appeared that looked a little bit like a man, a little bit like a beast, and a little bit like an angel. But Jack knew that anything from the dark forest is not good.
Jack looked at Gabriel's face as Gabriel was staring directly at this figure. Gabriel drew his sword and pointed it directly toward this black, dark creator that was coming closer and closer to the gold brick road. Jack realized right away that there was going to be a battle—a battle that he was not looking forward to. Jack knew that this person, this being, this spirit, whatever it was that was coming closer to the gold brick road, was one of great power. Jack said this to the Archangel:
JACK: Oh boy, this is really not good. I know that you have the power of the living God inside your sword, and I know that you can speak the truth, but shouldn’t we call upon the Archangel Michael to come and do some warfare here?
NARRATOR: Gabriel again leaned down and spoke into Jack’s ear. Jack began to realize that Gabriel, the one who represents Truth and the messages of the living God, spoke through an earthly vessel like Jack. Gabriel spoke the words to Jack that helped Jack understand that this kind of battle was not going to be fought by physical swords, but this battle would be fought with the sword of the Spirit—the word of Truth, and Jack was to listen and watch very carefully as he and Michael, the Archangel was held at bay for a moment while Gabriel spoke the message to this dark force.
JACK: Okay, I don’t understand why I must withhold my sword, but I will do as you have requested even though I’ve been trained to use my sword. I will watch and learn, and I’m going to listen very, very carefully as to how you, Gabriel, handle such a dark force. Are they girded with a sword themselves, Gabriel?
NARRATOR: Gabriel told Jack that the type of sword that is going to be used by this dark force were words from a book—from a book that did not stand before the living God as Truth. This will be a different kind of battle that Jack will be watching. But Gabriel told him to stand guard with the true believers standing on the gold brick road. Jack truly was to be focused on protecting the other indwelt believers from listening to the lies about to be spoken.
JACK: Okay, people, gather around me. Get over here real close. Everyone join hands. Yes, every single one of you join hands. Now, we will pray together silently as Gabriel deals with this dark force. I don’t know what it’s going to look like, but I can tell you this, it’s going to turn out well. Gabriel never ever receives dark messages or believes anything that’s coming out of the dark forest. Now you people are going to want to side with the dark side. Sorry, it’s true. You’ve become friends with their lies, and that’s a problem, so here’s what we will do. As Gabriel is doing his job given to him by the Father of the city of Zion, we are going pray, believing together that God the Father, God the Son—that’s the Lion of Judah, and God the Holy Spirit will accomplish this great mission. This dark, dark force that likes books and knowledge is something I encountered many, many days ago, and I found that this wicked Captain Book is a very evil, clever, conniving liar, so you must focus as Gabriel does his job. Do you understand me?
NARRATOR: All the people nodded their heads “yes,” but there was one particular person in the back of the group who kept looking toward this dark force that was approaching the gold brick road, almost like he was being tempted to change sides. Jack saw this, and he immediately said this:
JACK: Sir. Yes, you in the back. The one with the bright blue shirt. Yes, that is you. Please come forward.
NARRATOR: The man worked his way through the crowd of indwelt believers and stood in front of Jack, waiting for what Jack had to say.
JACK: Okay, I have noticed that you are very, very attracted to this dark force that is approaching the gold brick road. Is this not true?
DISTRACTED MAN: Well, kind of, I suppose. I’ve been listening to this Captain Book. At least that’s the name you’re calling him. Actually, I thought he was Jesus, Jesus the Christ, and you’re telling me that he’s a liar?
JACK: Oh yeah, that’s exactly what I’m telling you. You see, here’s the deception, people. This dark force uses the words of Jesus and the words that are in His Bible to deceive you into thinking he is Jesus Christ. He’s an antichrist, I tell you this day. He uses the words of Jesus. They say the right words, but they do not know how to release the Lion of Judah because the Lion of Judah does not live in them. They cannot do the great work of God the Father. It is a deep deception. I tell you, this day, do not turn your head to look at what Gabriel is about to do. All of us must stay focused on praying, keeping our eyes closed, as Gabriel does his great work.
NARRATOR: The people together joined Jack in doing exactly that, but there was this one man that, even though he bowed his head and appeared to be very focused on what Jack asked him to do, there seemed to be an overwhelming temptation for him to turn his head and look at this dark force that was approaching. Jack knew this, he saw this, and Jack was reminded of a warning, a simple warning that was given to believers if they turned and looked at the work of God the Father through his angels in destroying the wisdom of man, in destroying the wisdom of demons, of what would happen to them if they looked upon it, so Jack warned this man again.
JACK: I say to you, do not turn and look at this dark force and what God the Father is going to do to this dark force through Gabriel, for if you do, you will turn into a pillar of salt. Yes, you will remain an indwelt believer, but you will become hard-hearted like a pillar of salt, and you will be almost useless to the works that God wants to do through you. Listen to me now, I tell you, by the words of the Lion of Judah!
