THE CIVIL WAR OF THE LUMINARIES

In the not-so-distant future, in the bustling city of Washington, D.C., there lived a young journalist named Abigail. Her ink-stained fingers swished across her journal, weaving stories of truth and justice. Abigail believed her words could change the world, but little did she know that her most significant revelation lay hidden in the shadows. She became trapped in a Civil War.

Washington, DC, was a land divided—a fragile equilibrium between two powerful factions: the Luminaries and the Freedom Fighters. The Luminaries, led by the charismatic President Belial, promised enlightenment, progress, and unity. Their emblem—a radiant pentagram—adorned every street corner, casting a golden glow over the city.

Abigail, fueled by curiosity and a relentless pursuit of truth, dug deeper. She followed cryptic leads, whispered secrets, and clandestine meetings. Her investigations led her to an underground network—the Dark Webmasters. They spoke of a hidden truth, a shadowy figure pulling the strings behind the scenes.

One moonless night, Abigail met the enigmatic Webmaster known as Orion. His eyes held galaxies of knowledge, and his voice resonated like a forgotten prophecy. “The five points of light blinds us,” he said. “But the moon reveals the shadows of a grave leader.

Orion revealed that President Belial was no beacon of light but a puppet master orchestrating chaos for his gain. The false world leader had ignited tensions between the Luminaries and the Freedom Fighters, pushing them toward the brink of war. The city teetered on the edge as it spread throughout the nation, and Abigail’s quill trembled with the weight of revelation.

She penned her exposé—an allegory that turned nonfiction, woven in ink and fire. The title: “The Eclipse of Washington DC.” Abigail’s words engraved her fears as she wrote unspeakable words on the pages of her journal, revealing President Belial’s true identity—a shadow draped in golden robes. His promises were hollow, his intentions sinister. The points of light that once symbolized hope now cast a malevolent glow.

As Abigail’s article hit the public, the city erupted. Citizens read her words with wide eyes, torn between loyalty and doubt. The Freedom Fighters rallied, their emblem—a lone star—gaining newfound strength. The streets echoed with chants: “Truth over tyranny.”

President Belial, cornered by the truth, clung to power. He declared martial law, silencing dissent and branding Abigail a traitor. The quill had become a sword, and Abigail—once a mere journalist in waiting—now stood at the heart of a revolution.

The American Civil War in Washington, D.C. unfolded, quickly spreading throughout the land—a tempest of ideologies, blood, and ink. Abigail’s allegory became a reality—the points of light and the lone star locked in a celestial battle. The city burned, torn between blind loyalty and awakened consciousness.

In the darkest hour, Abigail faced a choice: expose the final secret—the hidden puppeteer orchestrating both factions—or let the city crumble. She sought the indwelling life of Yeshua, who whispered, “The truth is a double-edged sword. It can save or destroy.”

Abigail’s quill trembled once more. She penned the ultimate revelation: the puppeteer’s name—Belial was the final Antichrist. The city was the false world leader, perpetuating division to maintain control. The Luminaries and Freedom Fighters were mere pawns in its game.

As Biblical prophecies aligned, Washington, DC, shattered. Belial was rushed off to his home in middle earth. The people rose, not against each other, but against their puppeteer. Abigail’s words echoed through the smoke-filled streets: “The battle has just begun, take up the Sword of the Spirit, for this puppeteer can only be destroyed by the maker of Truth.”

And so, the false world leader shifted his power to its global sources, its golden facade showing signs of crumbling. Abigail’s quill, now stained with blood and ink, etched a new chapter—A United Elect, where truth prevailed over deception.

In the aftermath, Abigail stood atop the ruins, her non-fiction conviction etched into history. The Freedom Fighters claimed a victory. And the city, once divided, whispered her name—a young journalist who ignited a revolution with ink and revelation has warned us of more Civil Wars that will shift to the global masses.

The first American Civil War holds a unique place in history, and its impact resonates far beyond the battlefield. Justice would be served to explore the Biblical perspectives that emerged during this tumultuous period:

The Biblical View:

  • The first American Civil War is often considered one of the most religiously charged conflicts in modern history.

  • Both sides—the Union and the Confederacy—drew inspiration from evangelical ideas rooted in their understanding of the world and their respective causes.

  • Revivals swept through the armies, and soldiers on both sides claimed the Bible as their own, seeking divine guidance and support.

Divine Providence and Ironies:

President Abraham Lincoln eloquently captured the ironies of the war in his Second Inaugural Address in March 1865.

  • He acknowledged that both sides read the same Bible and prayed to the same God, yet each invoked divine aid against the other.

  • Lincoln recognized the limits of human knowledge regarding God’s purposes, emphasizing the complexity of interpreting divine will in the midst of conflict.

Biblical Interpretation:

Americans during the Civil War expressed unwavering certainty about how biblical passages applied to contemporary events.

  • Clergy, laypeople, and soldiers freely interpreted God’s purposes in history, often with apocalyptic undertones.

  • The Bible served as a lens through which they understood battles, outcomes, and social transformations like emancipation.

African Americans and Emancipation:

  • For African Americans, the Bible held profound significance during the war.

  • Verses about Ethiopia stretching out its arms to God took on special meaning as nearly four million slaves were freed.

  • Spirituals and biblical stories provided African American slaves with a theology that connected their lives to ancient passages and prophecies.

Personal Encouragement and Spiritual Strength:

Soldiers, facing physical hardships, separation from loved ones, and the horrors of battle, turned to the Bible for solace.

  • They memorized verses, quoted Scripture in letters, and drew strength from biblical stories.

  • Chaplains reinforced the message that their actions played a crucial role in realizing a narrative foretold or sanctioned in the Bible.

Displacement of Biblical Interpretation:

The battle for the Bible during the slavery controversy and the Civil War marked a shift away from a world where the Bible itself was the primary mode of interpreting contemporary events.

As the war unfolded, other interpretive frameworks emerged, and the Bible’s role evolved.

Sadly, the modern-day believers in Christ adopted a warmongering theology of starting and ending wars - standing up for “rights” that Jesus never gave them.

In summary, the American Civil War was not only fought on battlefields but also within the hearts and minds of those who sought God’s guidance. The Bible, with its timeless wisdom and promises, provided comfort, conviction, and a lens through which to understand the unfolding drama of history.

THE SECOND AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

Unfortunately, the second Civil War will be mute on the topic of Biblical logic, at least for most folks. If, and most likely, when, this war erupts - it will be a battle over the freedom to sin. While Freedom Fighters will be waring to protect their country and capitalistic rights, most will maintain their hatred and depraved acts of self-justified quarrels.

What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? (James 4:1)

As a result of this immovable Truth, God will not provide a defense for the Freedom Fighters of this Civil War. In fact, in the end, God allows this final Antichrist to win hands down for seven short years. Since humanity cannot escape the words spoken in James, He defaults to ending the power of the Antichrist personally in His Second Coming.

You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. (James 4:2-3)

The second American Civil War will expand into a global war - a war that cannot be won by mere humans. This will be a time when humans authentically realize the power of Satan and his demonic forces - forces that can only be defeated by the direct power of God through His Son.
