THE GREAT WHITE THRONE
While the condition of our position during the Great White Throne of Judgment is sealed upon our physical death, many will die believing they are sealed with authentic salvation – when in actuality, they never received the Holy Spirit into their mortal lives. On the day of Judgment, followers of Christ’s principles will discover this eternal difference.
An unknown fact to many Christians. Two separate judgments take place within the End Times. The first is the Judgment seat of Christ; the second is the Great White Throne of Judgment. All authentic indwelt Christians will be judged in the first court, which will happen seconds after the Rapture. Before the Bride of Christ can partake in the wedding feast, this phase of eternity must occur first.
So, where does this final judgment take place? It is not on the earth. Count on that. Since Rev. 20:11 reveals that the earth and heaven fled away after the thousand-year reign concluded, most likely, it will occur in the dimension of the dead. Since God did not clarify those details, it is honorable to leave this mysterious location in the hands of our Lord.
The person sitting on the Great White Throne is none other than Jesus. As odd as it sounds, Jesus’ Father judges no one.
John 5:22-23 tells us this, "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”
The people facing Jesus for this judgment, according to Rev. 20-13, it is all the souls called forth from Death and Hades (pre-Hell). We do know that each attempt to justify their position. Remember when Jesus said in Matt. 7:22-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
It doesn’t get any more sobering than that.
The lion's share of the dead will attempt to justify their refusal to come unto God through His Son. The rich, small, famous, noble, and wanna-be Christians will stand on equal footing, and not one will be ushered into the Kingdom of God. Everyone will suffer the consequences of refusing to allow the Truth to set them free when they had the chance to receive the person of Truth.
While most through the ages disregarded this Truth, every thought, deed, and spoken word was recorded in “the books.” Each person has a book containing the items I just mentioned. Each book is opened as the individual approaches the throne of Jesus. One by one, Jesus reveals the secrets contained in their book. Judges them according to the Law of the Father and then sends them off to damnation. A place filled with torment, flames, wailing, and gnashing of teeth – according to Mark 9:48, a place where worms do not die and the fire is not quenched.
Now comes our reality check. After disclosing all these Biblically sound warnings and proclamations, few will be moved, convicted, or challenged to receive Jesus Christ as their indwelling Savior. Satan has already moved in upon our global culture, so that passivity and ambivalence will dominate the masses' souls. Some will show interest but no conviction. Others will label this message as doomsday poppycock. However, a few will be struck to the core, plead with Jesus to save them, and walk in redemption until the day of the Rapture. Which are you?
If, and I mean if, Christ is knocking at your door for salvation, choose to open that door at this very hour. I will close with John’s words.
Listener, it is your responsibility to make the right choice. Our next and final episode will detail the New Heaven & Earth. Our final message will reveal the glorious ultimate reward for all His Saints who past the greatest test of all – those who endured to the end, those He saved. Listen to the full podcast.
