OBESSESED WITH APPROVAL
Why do we seek approval from others when we have the full acceptance of Yeshua?
Most churches + society teach that validation comes from achievement, status, relationships, or the praise of others—but this deception leads only to emptiness, exhaustion, and dependence on shifting opinions.
Today’s Podcast
When we seek approval outside of Yeshua, we become enslaved to expectations set by those we seek it from, allowing the voices of humanity to define our worth rather than the eternal truth of our Creator, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit who lives within all authentic believers.
True approval—lasting, unshakable, and rooted in the power of the Cross—comes only through Him, via His pure acceptance at salvation. Yeshua does not measure our value by worldly success, Christianized behavior, outward appearances, or the applause of crowds. He calls us beloved, chosen, accepted, and redeemed, not because of what we do but because of who He is. Seeking validation elsewhere places us in a cycle of constant striving, but in Him, we find freedom, peace, and the confidence to walk boldly in our purpose. To live for the approval of man is to live in bondage—but to live through the approval of Yeshua is to live in true freedom.
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1
