We live in a world of spies, even within our closest friend list & families. You know the type. Those who live a double life as an informant, acting loyal while filled with tedium and betrayal.
This is a subject we all need to learn about in our walk to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. It is not sinful to observe evil and to shine a light on it - we are Instructed to do exactly that! The spying isn't something to fear at all. The spy is greatly deceived, believing that darkness will hide his deeds. The spy may unwittingly become an exorcist, using demonic iniquity, darkness, and slumber in order to carry out his work. As we endure, look what God can do!
2 Corinthians 2:14-17. We "we are the aroma of Christ to God", and it permeates their databases and reports.
ALSO, a task we have is in Ephesians 5:11 - "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." Our conduct of life, the words out of our mouths, expose these works.
ALSO, Another task is in Ephesians 3:10 We are to make known to the spiritual rulers and authorities the manifold wisdom of God. Our conduct of life, the words out of our mouths, show forth this wisdom.
Much as these spiritual authorities and powers want to oppress and destroy us, their spying only furthers our spiritual stand against them. We have much to be thankful for!
Wowza, Keith. I love your comments. The Giant of Hate takes advantage of the uncertainty of life. It pushes for the removal of conviction. People fall short by omitting occurrences or performances when they do not reach a self-justified expectation belief. The expression is ambiguous. What is failure to one person is success to another. Undeniably, when people are uncomfortable with authentic love, they default to giving their mental beliefs elsewhere. To keep the Church alive, it is imperative that we keep Paul’s admonition alive – righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment. These are not popular words for those who hang on to enough hatred to propagate a lukewarm "gospel." Sad!
Thank you for your candor, a lot of heart went into this writing. Reminds me of the parable of the wheat and the tares. And Song of Solomon 16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.
His true ones will bear witness. My job is to faithfully bear witness of what He has done in my life. I don’t want flowery words that sound grandiose, I want true peace that comes from a living breathing faith in my beloved, His one and only Son Jesus....
Agreed. We are the book that most unbelievers are open to reading. While they tend to avoid reading the Word of God, they can get a glimpse of the Word by watching our actions in Christ.
"If [a] person fears entering the Throne room due to what God might say, answering the question becomes fruitless. What if He says, 'Stop isolating yourself from the Body of Christ or murdering your brothers, sisters, and fellow members with deceptive forms of secrecy? Worse yet, reconcile with those whom you have offended.' Let’s face the facts, most “Christians” today demand of God to speak from His throne words that match their morbid beliefs." This is such a realistic picture of what we're faced with in today's society, especially here in America. Man, if we are not on guard and alert, we will certainly not be ready when the thief enters our homes and robs us blind.
The enemy has already entered our homes, most of them. He thrives off the choices of our past, which is true about our fleshly decisions. This monster hides behind the skirt of self-help, self-effort, self-justification, or any other self-idiosyncrasies. While this monster loves chaining the believer down with the lies associated with pessimism, in God’s reality, it is a healthy dose OF reality of not repeating the sin of handing the key to our front doors to Satan again and again.
