Authentic Body members should never count on a stale testimony as an assurance of a loved one's salvation. Real indwelling faith is alive and sharper than a two-edged sword.
I would be honored if you let me know you prayed to receive Jesus. I will provide for you a free copy of my discipleship workbook, "Identity Matters." Plus, I would enjoy knowing if you passed the video along to others.
I thank you so very much for sharing this. I will be sharing it each day as I have saved it. I would love to have a copy of the workbook. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior several years ago but I began living in the world and not in his word. I have recently felt this burning desire to read and understand what is written because I have always struggled with this. I see the stark contrast between the fallen world I live in today and what God tells me to do and that’s to read His word for the truth is there. Seek the truth.
Here is what I struggle with each day. I have hate for my sins. I hate myself for committing these sins. Why do I struggle with forgiving myself? It’s shame and guilt and remorse and resentment at myself. I think it’s holding me back from being able to live in joy and happiness for the salvation of Christ’s death on the cross, His sacrifice for me pains me to the horrific way in which He died, and the resurrection and ascension into heaven to prepare a mansion for me is the truth. But, It’s a roadblock in a sense, if you will. How do I get past this point? I do not want to go to supper and not be dressed in a garment but in my filthy sins. Can you help? Thank you again for your article on this matter.
Deborah, thank you for your honesty. I would be honored to send you my workbook. Email me directly at drphinney@iomamerica.org, and I will send you the workbook and answer the questions you asked in the above comments. I look forward to your email. -Dr. Phinney
