What a great way of putting it. As long as Satan can keep prophecies in the mindset of fairy tales, he will be able to keep people "stupid" with God's warnings - not to mention blinded to his new world order of the Tribulation.
Geoff, what a great idea. I pray that your retreat is anointed with the power and love of the indwelling Life of Christ. Keep me updated. drphinney@iomamerica.org
Wow ! This post got me to thinking ... where are my AW Tozer books from the 1970s??! Having one credit for audible this month , I decided to go there and get a book . Audible apparently had many AW Tozer books at no charge !
Thank you ( !) for bringing my attention to this wonderful resource . In addition to your posts , & those of Jim Richardson , I feel God is drawing me to a deeper walk with Him .
You are welcome, Tamara. Tozer is a gem regarding sound doctrines - as you know. I am encouraged by your deeper walk with our Lord. To that I say, mission accomplished.
I've recently started my journey following Christ and I've found that the prophecies are my favorite aspect of biblical scripture. And the Rapture has been one of the main things on my mind, of how I can build upon His kingdom before that time comes. As Jesus says we can't know for sure when it will happen, what I know we must do is to spread the gospel to as many who will listen.
Your comment was of great encouragement to me, Arthadian. For me, the RAPTURE is the great welcoming of authentic believers. To know we will be in the arms of our Husband & Savior is beyond human comprehension. As I say to the Lord daily, "Let's gettr done."
Glad to have encouraged you and I hope you've had a blessed day today! And thank you for subscribing to my substack. I also have a secondary substack that I just started if you'd like to follow that one as well. It's a fictional faith-based publication that focuses on disciples who follow Christ after His resurrection.
Have you ever considered the FLOOD was God's first RAPTURE?
I had not considered that about the Flood!
"Nothing is spiritually accomplished without the Holy Spirit. Nothing!" This includes eagerly anticipating the return, which is our hope:
Galatians 5:5
[5] For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.
Although many are blind, the messages of the witnesses and prophets must be heralded forth for today and for the judgments to come.
Amen, Keith. Well documented and well said.
Love your Noah analogy Stephen. So much rich theology in Genesis that most folks consider fairy tales...even many Christians. 😢

Great piece Stephen. I have saved this as reference material for an upcoming Overcomers Retreat I am planning.
