"Christ Followers" tend to support the doctrines of Jesus and the Word but are not necessarily indwelt by the Holy Spirit - so this group will fall into the category of the Apostasy. Authentic born-again believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit are not likely to denounce Christ or the Holy Spirit. "Sheep in wolves clothing" are Christ followers.
