After years of church, and all the hassles, I said, I’m done, not with Christ, but the institution/ people. I turned back to music, playing etc. After years of sending Him drawing me back, and still resisting, I came to the place, where even tho, back in church, I was still miserable. I prayed one night, “lord, heal me, or take me. In a few days I went to sleep one night and woke up in ICU 10 days later, cardiac failure, pneumonia, sepsis and more. Down the roads still more health scares, and spiritual battles.I am 72 in a week, don’t know what lies ahead. But I believe, the Shepherd loves his sheep enough to afflict them

Thank you for sharing! It reminds me of Hebrews 4:14-16. You provide a good example of handling the various emotions and disappointments that we encounter in this life. Prophets are intensely familiar with life that the brethren experience.

Bless you, Keith. It was a difficult night. I grieve so deeply over Israel that my heart hurts. My cardiologist says I’m back in heart failure again and says to avoid stress. I laugh. Jane laughs. Then we tell him it is impossible for the burden I carry for Yeshua and His motherland. Then he smiles.
