Thank you for sharing these events and insights . This is a beautiful piece of work . I appreciate the underlying message . Praise our faithful Father .
You got it, Tamara. You can call me Steve. I am honored to have you as a reader & friend. We, believers, need to stick together. Say, I have posted a bunch of FREE stuff on my new "Buy Me a Coffee" site. Check it out. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/drphinney
Stephen, your testimony gives God so much glory; I loved reading it! Jesus is so good to us. "Little Joseph" indeed! What the enemy intended for harm, God used for good! Thank you for sharing
Thank you, Emmalene. I can tell you are a kind person. Better yet, I can see that you understand that hardship brings glory unto Jesus. I always enjoy your comments. Thanks, sis.
You are welcome, Emmalene. Life comes at us fast - as they say. Entertaining bitterness of the past classically produces parties of despair. That is why this "old man" keeps his eyes fixed on the final party of Heaven's side.
For some reason, your latest comment deleted itself right before my very eyes. I was saying it will be awesome to see past, present, and future Saints on Heaven's side. We who are indwelt by Christ are not here to make a pleasant "thing" out of the Christian Life. We are called to share in the fellowship of His sufferings for that special party, soon to come.
Sorry Stephen, I deleted my original comment, as I got self conscious about it.
I had commented: "Speaking of Heaven's party; yesterday, I was thinking that it would be lovely to meet the believers I have interacted with here on Substack but Aus is a far treck from the US & it's unlikely due to the state of things! At that moment, I believe Jesus put in my spirit that we will meet in Eternity; it was a beautiful revelation."
You're so right, this is not our home & we look forward to a better place with Jesus. Thank you for the encouragement and I'll try not to delete my future comments; I shouldn't be afraid of others perceptions of me! 😄
I get it. Behold, my friend, I was an empty vessel that needed to be filled with the full awareness of Christ in me. In time it arrived. I am the first to admit that without Jesus in me, I am a weak man of faith. I need the daily strength of Him released in my weakest moments. I have noticed through the years that my love is cold, but His is sizzling hot. Today, He is my all in all.
What were your high-school years like?

Please call me Tamara . I’m going to change that !

I was a follower with no vision. I played golf every day after school and all weekend. It dulled my pain. Thank you Jesus for your grace toward me.

I can relate. Teased and pushed around. If I only knew then what I know now. 😉
Exactly! The hindsight of wisdom is always relevant to our future.
