Unless we use our mind, will, and emotions to “allow” or release the Spirit, we end up choosing our own way, having defiled emotions, and fulfilling the desires of the flesh.

The Lord said to me, "Stephen, to be vulnerable is to lay oneself open for rejection,, pain, and suffering. For without it, you cannot fellowship with Me in My sufferings." I said, "Ouch." Then moved on to revealing my weaknesses to the world only to discover the indwelling power of His strength.
