The propensity of many to idolise the cross has bothered me for some time. This has given me an insight into how to properly position the cross. Thank you Stephen.

Colossians 2:10 (KJV) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power...

Religion and idolatry tends to be egotistical, ultimately denying the accomplishments of Jesus Christ and our identification with him. By emphasizing the "cross" (pandering to the 5 senses) the resurrection, ascension, and being seated in the heavenlies, are tossed into the dark recesses of ignorance.
