Informative post Stephen. I've noticed multitudes of dubious posts on Facebook inviting (more like tempting) folks to comment on things like "What's you favorite____" or "Tell me what state you are from in two words", etc. Answering this single post is bad enough but I observe folks compelled to answering and forwarding many more, as Facebook slowly accumulates this personal info about them which they freely give them. Are folks simply not aware?
I'm sure that is the case with most. However, when I was in politics, we warned multitudes of Mark's vision to use his Facebook subscribers to move them to support Obama and progressivism, and few listened. Now with his confession of the F B I collaboration and his funding the election fraud, they still remain passive. I think it is more of an issue of resistive silence - a means to protect their primary venue of connecting with others.
