I would add some things to your list. As Christian commentators have said throughout the ages, child-free sex is a great perversion of God's plan for sex. From delayed marriage, to birth control., to child-murder, our current society, even the church, has fallen into this perversion of what sex and marriage are to be about.
My search for God was certainly what led me away from transgender ideology, and to eventually come to embrace celibacy in light of my same-sex attractions. I've come to realize that in a world of lust and depravity, celibacy is a gift to seek the higher, and something I promote for all homosexuals.
