I saw that History Channel series. Wow--I didn't realize you had helped with that. Kudos! Truly.
Here's something. I am the direct descendant of John Morton, a Declaration of Independence signer. My grandfather was a 33rd Degree Mason. My grandmother was Eastern Star and DAR. I was sent to Job's Daughters but could not stay awake during the meetings so my mother (a total non-conformist) allowed me to quit. We have family ties to both the Church of Christ and the Episcopalian Church that go way back. I was recruited to work for an agency of government that is one of the more secretive and dysfunctional --and that is saying something when you consider how high (or low) that dysfunction bar is set. I came to Christ at 14 and taking the job never felt good, once you get past the ego gratification, so I quit. I've paid some freight on that. I have stories.
I'm even freaked out writing this, but sunlight is a great disinfectant.
Have things gotten any better in your fantastic small town? Staying takes some brave. I applaud you.
Wow. Our grandfathers knew each other since both signed the Declaration of Independence. However, they might not have liked each other. Samuel Chase, my grandpa, was hated by the Masons. Although here we are - two kids from these men unified in Christ.
Gotcha. So maybe our grandfathers did get along. You would have to do extensive research within the county records in the town he lived at the time. I found my records by visiting the US Archives Department. If you go in there and announce your connection to a signer, they give you priority and personalized attention. You can also contact the headquarters of the Masons in Washington DC. I wouldn't go in the building itself; it is the darkest place on the planet. However, a call might get you the information.
I won’t go to DC. I have plenty of reasons. During the Trump administration, one of my daughters wanted to organize a family trip there. We talked. End of trip.
Matthew 18:16 is an instruction on dealing with Freemasons. I doubt even non-mason pastors would confront their council members and brothers who are the highest financial contributors to their income, however. Good article though. Freemasons have no place in a Christian congregation unless they repent and turn away from it. And when they do, the brotherhood treats them as an outcast, loosing all of their business supporters. In essence, they must sell everything they own, give the money to the poor and follow Jesus.
Well said, Janice. After I moved to a small community listed as one of the best small towns to live in, is when I discovered the power of the Masons. A year before moving here, I had some notoriety for working on History Channels special on Masons. Long story short, within a short time, they organized a group of sponsoring pastors to chase me and my family out of town, literally asking me to leave or else. I chose "or else." That led to years of mistreatment. We felt like a black family in an all-white community. Which is another reason they hate me. I'm as white as a sheet but love others without prejudice of color.
Lol ! You did warn us . However , this is exquisitely important . I will have to reread multiple times to fully understand , but it will be worth the effort . Thank you for such a work ! It makes me appreciate my own pastor all the more !

Wow.
Lots to unpack here.

PS: I do not know if John Morton was a Mason. How would I find that out?

I don't blame you. It is a swamp now.
With apologies to actual swamps.
Q: Have you ever experienced a heaviness in your spirit, a real physical heaviness, just being in a certain place?
My husband is a huge history buff. I will ask him about Samuel Chase. If he doesn’t know, he will find out. (Yes, I can be lazy like that.)

Great job exposing the church state Beast-System!
I appreciate that, Thomas. What topics are you passionate about?
Wow. You are giving plenty of info here.
I warned you. Lol. Part Two will be a mind-bender.
When will you have part 2?
No pressure, but you know.
Hurry up.
Part Two should be released next week - "Freemasons & Global Control."
