The Word of God overflows with verses that reveal the extraordinary goodness of Jesus, showcasing His character, teachings, and redemptive work. Knowing and understanding that He lives within authentic believers, His goodness is readily available to be released in each authentic believer.
Here are some of the verses that highlight the goodness of Jesus:
“Jesus Christ, the embodiment of goodness, compassion, and love, is central to the Christian faith.”
“Jesus displayed great compassion and mercy towards those who were suffering, marginalized, and broken.”
“Jesus’ goodness is exemplified by His willingness to forgive even those who betrayed and crucified Him.”
“Jesus’ teachings emphasize the importance of loving one’s neighbor, caring for the poor and needy, and treating others with compassion and respect.”
“Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
“Jesus’ actions were empowered by God’s presence and anointing.”
The Bible teaches us that God can use bad things for good purposes. In Romans 8:28, it says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This verse reminds us that even when we face difficult circumstances, God can use them to bring about good in our lives.
Another example of this is found in the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and faced many hardships, but God used these experiences to prepare him for a position of leadership in Egypt. Joseph later said to his brothers, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20).
These examples show us that God can bring good out of bad situations. We may not always understand why we are going through difficult times, but we can trust that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives.
