Dr, Phinney, terrific post. Just terrific. I will be sharing this. It's funny that you mention Nehemiah because I have been thinking about Nehemiah a lot lately. In the weeks leading up to the media-fueled, DS-fueled inevitable assassination attempt, I was thinking about Nehemiah and the team surrounding him. I pictured them building a wall (protection) by holding a brick in one hand and a sword (the word of God) in the other, with their eyes constantly watching. Over and over this has been brought to my mind. Trump is our Nehemiah, and we must work, a brick in one hand and a sword in another. We must resist the temptation to sit back and watch Nehemiah build the wall while we watch sports on television. It doesn't work that way, it won't work that way; we must FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT FOR AMERICA!

On the day of the rally, rushing to get ready for an airport run, I felt led to stop and pray for President Trump's protection. The prayer went much deeper than I was prepared for as I ended up on my face in prayer, and I had meant to just "say a quick prayer" as I was hurrying. It's a profound mystery, this thing called prayer. It's so powerful. I do wonder how many others had felt similarly led? I think that the Holy Spirit was very active that morning!

BTW, this is the second time I witnessed an angel save a life. Both times life and death were matters of under an inch.

I don't know if anyone else feels it, but heaven and earth are so close they are sometimes touching. It's an amazing time to be alive!

Kimberly, this is exactly what I was hoping to wake up and read from a subscriber. Thank you for “getting it.” I echo your words.

Equating President Trump with Nehemiah is so spot on. Thanks for taking the time to articulate this.

Thanks, Cork. We need more modern-day Nehemiahs. No question about it.

Interesting...esp since we are long lost relatives...this isn't about religious persecution when did we become like the sadducees and Pharisees and israelites? You want a king to defeat your enemies exactly like in Samuel. The fruits of this movement are now teaching we are little gods that no one is coming to save us...where is the faith? We have replaced our savior Jesus Christ with ourselves...do you not see the mistakes?

Well, Sonja, well said. Indeed, Yeshua is our King of kings. Culture today has certainly replaced Yeshua, our Savior, with that of self-as-god.

Wonderful column! Thank you for your boldness in seeing and proclaiming the Truth! We have a clear cut choice between good and evil, not between perfect and personality! God help our nation and help Christians to see that POLICY is the most important thing on the ballot! God continue to give Trump PROTECTION, STRENGTH, RESILIENCE, AND WISDOM!!

Thankyou.

Donald Trump is an inspiring legend.

I think comparing him to Churchill during the darkest hour of WW2 is more than fair.

The future of freedom rests heavily on Donald Trump as it did on Churchill.

God bless him. Amen

Love it! The futility of idols is relevant to our topic. Humanity will fade into hopelessness if we look to any man for salvation or restoration - only Yeshua can do this. Amen?

Amen.

Yet we are called on to be good citizens of whatever political system we find ourselves in.

I find some are drawing lines of equivalency where none exist. Voting for Trump is not idol worship, it’s participation in a democratic Republic.

Well said, sis. Some people who call themselves believers negate the fact that we have a responsibility to vote, it isn't optional in my book - even if you have to write a name in. One of my staff contacted the U.S. Archives to discover I was a Presidential write in on three separate elections. I laughed but understood the logic.

I have no trust in the modern-day leaders, even those I admire. Yeshua is not only the Way, Truth, and Life, He is the King of kings who directs the minds of all - even the unsaved.

While I have a deep respect for President Trump, honestly, I don't put much hope in him. He is only a man. However, if he uses his assigned position and "power" to advance the Kingdom of God, well then, that is a different matter. Thanks for praying for our ministry, Teresa.
