The individual who places you on a pedestal typically is the one who dethrones you in the end. Berra said "Anyone who is popular is bound to be disliked"—no truer words.
This post is so informative Stephen, I got heaps out of it! This post makes me even more glad that I nursed both my boys. Nursing was an absolute gift and blessing from Jesus, the bonding is so special. I used to have Samoan friends who all nursed their little ones until their children "no longer wanted to"- usually around the age of four!
Thanks, Emma. I always look forward to your comments. Breastfeeding and gender issues are directly related to our cultural demise today. While most will do a "blow by" with this article, the moms who breastfeed "get it." Say, my adopted daughter grew up on the Samoan Islands. Did you live there at one point?
Thank you Stephen, it makes so much sense & reading this revelation came at the perfect time too! No I have not lived there or visited but there are a lot of beautiful Samoan families that live in our region of NSW, Aus. That's wonderful you have an adopted daughter!
Thank you! Jane and I have four adopted children outside of our three naturals. Plus, an additional 13 grandchildren outside of our eleven naturals. We think our quiver is full. Lol.

Wow!!! That's amazing!! Indeed, very full! You and Jane are very blessed to be surrounded by so much family and precious little ones 🌿 Well done!
Thanks, Emma. There is nothing like being an "Opa." I love it.
