Why would Biblical Paul turn a young man over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh? Good question. However, the answer is in our passage – so that his spirit may be saved in the day of Jesus.
There is always a great interest in justice - God is the source of that justice. God is always faithful! Rest assured that justice will not be withheld.
In most of Paul’s writings, he worked relentlessly to assist the believers in separating their flesh from their walk and identity in Christ. I believe this was the primary mission of Paul’s life.

Yes! In Paul's ordination he was told the following:
Acts 26:18
[18] to open their (gentiles) eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the (exercised) power of Satan to (the exercised power) God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ (ESV)

Deuteronomy 32:4
[4] “The Rock, his work is perfect,
for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,
just and upright is he. (ESV)
Psalm 37:27–29
[27] Turn away from evil and do good;
so shall you dwell forever.
[28] For the LORD loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
[29] The righteous shall inherit the land
and dwell upon it forever. (ESV)
