In the intricate psychological patterns of human history, the clash between faith, prophecies, and culture has woven threads of tension, hatred, and timeless debate over the prophecies of God.
Dr. Phinney, it is a herculean task, to hold fast to God's truths and walk in the chaos of our modern world. I use the word "cling" a lot and it is a effective tool for me. Just like a little kid learning to walk or a child in elementary school, we have no reference to things except to reflect what is shown to us by family, friends, etc. and slowly, painfully grow in experience that is hopefully good. This is why we desperately need the Word. I shared Jeremiah 17:9 recently, about the heart being deceitful and desperately wicked and God trying the reins. I also shared the wonders of Psalm 103, that can apply a balm to our sorrow with the sheer mercy and goodness of God. We need both sides of this. I so appreciate your wisdom and sharing on all this "deep stuff" of the faith of God and His Son.

Wendy, you did a great job of explaining our need. Love it.
Thank you, Dr. Phinney!!
Looking forward to it. I think you and I are reading the same book.
I'll bet we are, Stephanie.
In the world, not of it….
Amen, Jana.
