#9 Revelation Love | King of Kings

Revelation Love: Yeshua, our beloved King and eternal Groom. His presence is not merely a historical event, but a living reality upon the day of your salvation.

In humanity’s existence, there emerges a figure of unparalleled love and divine majesty - Yeshua, our beloved King and eternal Groom. His presence is not merely a historical event, but a living reality, a spiritual union for all those who receive Him as indwelling Life that goes beyond intellectual logic.

Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus, means “God saves.” As our King, He rules with justice and righteousness, His laws are written on our hearts, and His eternal reign is marked by unfailing love and commitment. He is not a distant monarch, but a close and personal Groom, intimately involved in the details of those who have received Him.

Yet, Yeshua is not only our King but also our eternal Groom. This doctrine is deeply rooted in the Scriptures, portraying the profound spiritual relationship between Christ and His Church. The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:25-27, “Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy… to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”

This divine romance is not based on fleeting emotions but on a God sized everlasting covenant. It is a love story that began before the foundation of the world and will continue throughout eternity. As our eternal Groom, Yeshua cherishes us, nurtures us, and showers us with unconditional love. He invites us into a deep, personal relationship with Him, a spiritual union that reflects the intimacy, commitment, and self-sacrifice of a marital covenant, that is manifested from the inside out once saved.

In the presence of Yeshua, our beloved King and eternal Groom, we find our true identity and purpose. We are not merely subjects in His kingdom or beneficiaries of His sacrificial love; we are His cherished bride, destined to reign with Him as His queen forever in His eternal Kingdom. This is the glorious hope that inspires our intimacy with Him, fuels our love, and anchors our souls in the midst of life’s storms.

In the embrace of our beloved King and eternal Groom, we find a love that is stronger than death, a joy that surpasses all understanding, and a peace that rises above all circumstances. In Yeshua, we find our heart’s true love-life.

The King of Kings

In the vast expanse of all of our human relationships, one figure stands out as the ultimate invite to intimacy - Jesus Christ, the King of kings. His reign is not only one of earthly power or dominion, but of spiritual authority and eternal significance that will be matriculated throughout eternity.

Prophetic Declaration

The title “King of kings” is not a human invention but a divine proclamation. In the book of Revelation, John the Apostle writes, “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16). This title signifies Jesus’ supreme authority over all earthly and heavenly rulers.

His Nature of Kingship

Jesus’ kingship is unique. Unlike earthly kings who rule by force or inheritance, Jesus rules through love and sacrifice by and through the inheritance His Father imparted. His coronation did not occur in a palace, but on a cross. He did not wear a crown of gold, but a crown of thorns. His scepter was not one of gold, but a rugged wooden cross. This is the paradox of Jesus’ kingship - it is a reign marked by humility, service, and sacrificial love & leadership.

The Kingdom of God

Jesus’ primary mission was to inaugurate the Kingdom of God. He said, “The time has come… The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15). The Kingdom of God is not only a physical territory, but a spiritual reality. It is the realm where God’s will be done perfectly, and Jesus, the King of kings, reigns supreme. Shortly after He ends the reign of the Antichrist, He will bring His Kingdom to earth and rule for 1,000 years. Once this phase is closed on humanity’s side, He will rule the New Heaven and Earth for eternity.

Call to Allegiance

As the King of kings, Jesus calls us to pledge our allegiance to Him as our Groom. This is not a call to a burdensome obedience, but to a liberating intimate relationship with Him through submission. Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). To submit to Jesus’ kingship is to enter into a life of victorious Christian living through releasing the Holy Spirit within us.

Reigning With Him Eternally

Jesus’ reign as the King of kings is not temporary but eternal. His kingdom will have no end. The prophet Daniel wrote, “His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed” (Daniel 7:14). As the King of kings, Jesus offers us the hope of an eternal kingdom where His Bride will reign with Him as intimate partners throughout eternity.

Yeshua/Jesus, the King of kings, is the ultimate sovereign ruler of the universe and beyond. His reign is marked by love, sacrifice, and a reflective obedience He has with His Father. As we submit to His kingship, we find true freedom, purpose AND identity. In the words of the hymn writer, “Crown Him the Lord of lords, who over all doth reign, who once on earth, the incarnate Word, for ransomed sinners slain, now lives in realms of light, where saints with angels sing their songs before Him day and night, their God, Redeemer, King.”
