Jane Phinney: We have often discussed the irony of how we eulogize people after they’re gone. We tend to remember what we loved about them & overlook their fleshly foibles.
I held bitterness towards my father for years. I’m so thankful I chose to forgive him before he passed away. I gave his eulogy and it centered around coming home. He gave his heart to Jesus a few years before he passed, and now o know I’ll see him again. He’s been gone 19 years, and I find myself remembering the good times, and the bad times have seemed to fade into the background. Thank you for sharing your story.
