The second coming of the Lord is a critical part of the belief system of each and every believer. The Hebrew reason for the rapture is for the Groom (Christ) to come and get His Bride. Just like the timeline suggests: Jesus courted us during His ministry, became engaged with us during the New Testament period, and verse seven reveals the second coming as a Gracious act of coming for His Bride (see John 14:3, Phil. 3:20, 1 Thess. 4:15-18 & 1 Cor. 15:23).
