Beautiful, Mrs. Phinney! I am so glad you had such a loving Dad, that makes a huge difference. While my own Dad did not mistreat me, I was not wanted and he tried to persuade Mom to abort me. She refused, as she had prayed for a daughter. Life throws curves at us all. I am glad you had the memories to cherish. I hold fast to God and His Son and my Heavenly Father fills that gap for me.
