The Need for Inferiority | Dr. Stephen Phinney: I can assure you the average Christian believes that Christ-followers ARE authentic Christians; “surveys” prove it. I believe this is the greatest lie.
Are you a ‘follower’ of Christ or indwelt by Him? Explain.
I know what you mean by the difference here, but as one who is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, I also believe that one who is indwelt by Him should also follow Him in the sense of being like Him? True believers are the hands, heart, and feet of Jesus and His ambassadors here on the earth.
"Do you resist the Biblical statement of ‘hate yourself?’ Explain."
Honestly, I really hate this statement & desire to edit it. Why? To soften the blow. To this day, "...hate yourself" pains me, emotionally. However, my own life exemplifies the truth of this statement, and the GREAT benefits so graciously bestowed upon me by my loving heavenly Father, once I hated myself.
Now, life is about my heavenly Father - He gave me life, salvation, strength to make a living, strength to know His word, wisdom, and His will, the strength and opportunities to impart the same to others. All this is His doing, and He still sees fit to grant rewards! The "self" is so inadequate, but He has made us sufficient to live his will in the physical realm.
Well, Keith, it is a good thing Jesus made this statement and not me. LOL Over the years, I have received many "hate" responses over my position of joining Jesus in the "why" it is the first step to eternal Life.
Interesting-but I can see why. For some, perhaps this question will stay with them until it is resolved by seeing things God’s way and submitting to Him.
I hope so, but I doubt many will "get it." I've written books, articles, and been on enough media podcast shows to know that I can count on one hand the number of people who understood and accepted this mandate. We live in a self-love society!

Feel inferior 24/7. Also, I dislike this fallen world with a passion. My strength, courage and love come from Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
