Yeshua’s promise to deliver His Bride from the trauma of the Great Tribulation is a profound source of hope and comfort for all the indwelt believers who will be alive at the time of the Rapture. As the world faces unprecedented turmoil and distress, the assurance of Yeshua’s return to gather His faithful Bride, who endured to the end, provides an eternal comfort like no other in Biblical history.
In passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, we are reminded of the glorious moment when “the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” Reader, this is called the Rapture. This Divine deliverance underscores God’s unwavering love and protection for His people, ensuring that they will be spared from the full wrath and suffering of the Great Tribulation, and will instead be united with Yeshua in eternal glory.
What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. (Philippians 1:18-20)
I say this with BOLDNESS: if the Holy Spirit indwells you at the moment of the Rapture, you WILL be delivered from the darkest hours of humanity!
Yeshua’s Deliverance of His Indwelt Bridal Members
The concept of the Rapture is a cornerstone of eschatological belief, representing the moment when Yeshua (Jesus) will return to gather those who received the Holy Spirit and endured to the end, often referred to as His Bride, to Himself. This Divine event is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecies that projected the ultimate purpose of the Creation of humanity, God’s selection process, the Law, and authentic salvation through His redeemed work accomplished on the Cross & at Pentecost. Revelation Love, Deliverance explores the significance of the Rapture in delivering Yeshua’s indwelt Bridal members and the subsequent wedding feast and ceremony that unite and complete the purpose of salvation.
The Promise of the Rapture
The Rapture is a promise that Yeshua made to His Body, His Bride, assuring them of His return to take them to be with Him. In John 14:2-3, Jesus comforts His disciples with these words: “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” This promise is further elaborated in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, where the Apostle Paul describes the Rapture: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” This is the deliverance Yeshua promised.
Deliverance from the Great Tribulation
The Rapture serves as a divine deliverance for Yeshua’s indwelt Bridal members from the trauma and wrath of the forthcoming Great Tribulation. This period, characterized by unprecedented suffering and Holy judgment, is described in Revelation 6-19. Believers are assured that they will be spared from this time of distress. In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul writes, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This deliverance underscores God’s promise to His Son, who was called to love and protect His people, ensuring that they are not subjected to the full extent of His judgment upon the earth.
The Wedding Feast and Ceremony
Following the Rapture, the indwelt Bridal members of Yeshua will partake in the believer’s judgment, which is not based on their earthly sins but rather on the opportunities they missed to serve their Groom. Then comes the wedding feast and ceremony, a celebration that symbolizes the union of Christ and His Church. This event is depicted in Revelation 19:7-9: “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, ‘Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ And he added, ‘These are the true words of God.’” This joyous occasion signifies the culmination of God’s redemptive plan, where believers are united with Yeshua in eternal fellowship.
The Fulfillment of Authentic Salvation
The Rapture and the subsequent wedding feast and ceremony fulfill the purpose of authentic salvation. Salvation is not merely an escape from judgment but a restoration of the intimate relationship between God and His people. Through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, believers are transformed and prepared for this Divine union. Ephesians 5:25-27 illustrates this transformative process: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.” The Rapture brings this process to completion, as believers are presented to Yeshua as His spotless Bride.
Why is the Rapture/Deliverance before the Tribulation? Hebrew Law requires that a woman is not to see the wrath of her father or husband. Remember the story of Lot’s wife turning into a pillar of salt? God disciplined her because He told Lot to tell his wife NOT to turn and look at the destruction/tribulation God brought down on those two cities. The same principle is true for the Bride of Christ. Yeshua removes the Bride before God releases the Seven Bowls of Wrath.
Yeshua’s deliverance of His indwelt Bridal members through the Rapture is a profound demonstration of His love and promises kept. This event not only spares believers from the trauma of the Great Tribulation but also ushers them into the joyous celebration of the wedding feast and ceremony.
Through this divine union, the purpose of authentic salvation is fulfilled, as believers are eternally united with Yeshua in perfect marital oneness. As we await this glorious moment, we are reminded to remain steadfast and endure to the end. Those who do WILL be Raptured. Until then, He will sustain us through the trials of life and prepare us for the ultimate fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan - Yeshua is blessed with His Bride. This fulfills the Hebrew Law that all first-born males MUST obtain a bride for their eternal heritage.
