The healings that Jesus and the Apostles did showed God's compassion for us, in that while we are wonderfully made, we are made for his purpose to give us an ever greater body, one not just in his image, which is amazing enough, but also a body that will be one with God, and move like the wind!!
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:5-8)
Many doctors do believe in God due to the marvel of the human body, but most have been conditioned by the medical profession to treat disease, not to encourage and assist in health, due to that perspective they focus on illness not on health, and can not see the life for they can only see the illness!! It is the entire focus of their profession, which is why it is such a failure at producing health.
