#Thank You. We are growing - thanks to you!
I was referred to Substack through an acquaintance, Sean Hannity. It didn’t take me long to see Substack was a great source for writers. I was hooked.
Praise the Lord. I have thought of you and your ministry and how incredibly important the matter of identity in Christ is, as it was in my own ministry. God saved me from ministry run by my self-life by reminding me of the truth about whom I was, supernatural healing me on one occasion, and supernaturally reminding me of these truths on another. I have struggled with this through my ministry and through my life, and becoming clear on these issues is the only reason I have survived in ministry. Thank you!

THE TWO-YEAR MILESTONE POST
I was referred to Substack through an acquaintance, Sean Hannity. It didn’t take me long to see Substack was a great source for writers. I was hooked.
I can remember my first subscriber, Jim Richardson, with “From My Brain to Yours.” Today we are close friends. I cannot tell you how much this new friendship has meant to me. He helped me see that not only is Substack a great writers’ venue but an awesome place to meet new friends. Thanks, Jim, for being there. Since those early days, I have had hundreds of subscribers who have become dedicated readers and viewers of our posts that keep us doing what we do. THANK YOU!
Learning Through Writing
I believe that all writers understand that we are our best teachers. However, as a Substack writer, I must say that our readers have challenged me to the core - in making sure that I get it right. People rarely pay to be slapped with the Truth. I get that. In saying that, I don’t make much money from my readers. At first, this bothered me. Although, today, I am content with providing our readers with well-balanced Biblical truths, which often tend to offend people. I often revert to words my daughter said about me.
"With my dad’s writings, you never have to fear lukewarm teachings, and you will receive a bold message of your inadequacy apart from Christ. No matter the subject, he clearly states that co-crucifixion is the pathway to freedom from living in bondage to our crucified old man."
Jessi Phinney
I have been in ministry long enough to know that ministering in Christ is not a good business. Furthermore, I have learned that being content with living hand to mouth is an honorable place to be with Jesus.
Today my attitude is writing what I believe the Lord has placed in my mind. Since starting with Substack, I have posted 1,030 articles. While I enjoy those little red hearts, I am consistently reminded that my job is not to warm the hearts of readers but rather challenge them to discover the heart of Jesus. Honestly, for a guy who loves accolades, this is a frequent challenge. but like most writers, we must keep moving on.
Ministerial Objective
Building and equipping members of the Body of Christ to complete the work of service through the indwelling life of Jesus Christ. Since Worldview is formed through personal identity, my objective is to serve the hurting by providing practical and proven publications & media to further equip each participant in embracing the life-transforming message of —"Not I but Christ." I focus on the root cause of cultural and interpersonal problems—spiritual, psychological, and cultural identity. By using the Bible and over 40 years of experience, my grace-oriented & systematic solutions to worldview problems are what most people say are refreshing and comforting.
"Stephen's writings come from a gift like Paul, who witnessed Christ to the world during Christianity’s formative years. He is a student of God’s Word. He presents Biblical Truth with clarity and passion sculpted from personal trials and the blessings born through those trials."

When asked what’s your favorite article you have written on Substack, without question, it is “The Dark Cave.” It was birthed through pain and suffering that left me with what you have read today in this post.
We would be honored to have you help us get the word out to other readers. As all Substack writers understand, new subscribers, referrals, and comments help us grow. When we grow, the Lord’s influence grows. Since Substack has made it easy to share everywhere, please do so. Again, thank you for being one of our readers and viewers.
As per my norm, here is a video depicting my overall mission. It is our youth version:
