Recommended 'Reads' For Today
Dr. Phinney's top weekly 'reads.' Advancing Christ through the digital world.
It’s often said that good writers are also avid readers. Reading works by other quality Substack authors can provide inspiration, expose me to different styles and voices, and offer valuable insights into effective storytelling techniques. It’s a way for me to continually learn and refine my own writing skills.
At times, I will recommend authors that I do not know. However, today, I recommend some of those that I do.
I have discovered recommending other authors within our Substack community is a powerful practice. It not only helps readers discover new voices and perspectives, but also fosters a sense of community among writers and readers. By recommending my top ‘reads,’ I am acknowledging the diversity and richness of thought in the minds of others while contributing to the spread of the messages of Jesus Christ in advancing His narratives. It’s a testament to the interconnectedness of the Christ-as-Life literary world. -Dr. Stephen Phinney
