“So, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?” People of ambiguity are typically an enemy of Truth. People who work to delude the message of God’s prophecies tend to make themselves hostile.
Reminds me of Ephesians 6:6 not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, (ESV)
Those who become people-pleasers find it easy to deceive with "eye-service". I have found such disloyalty in these people. Those who court acclaim from people-pleasers will soon find themselves under their control.
People pleasers are self-as-god individuals - born again or not. If believers want to provoke God, setting themselves up as an idol by pleasing man over God will do the job.
