PROPHECY: What To Do While Waiting.

WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING
Dr. Stephen Phinney
People have had to endure terrifying experiences related to the End Times. While Americans can hide behind their materialism, most countries do not have such luxuries. Most countries see the birth pangs of the End Times openly and congruously.
The mental threat of contemplating the End Times turns lives completely upside down. It usually means wars and rumors of wars. For the countries that are in the epicenter of the End Times, who cannot shelter themselves behind materialism, it uproots families, destroys infrastructure, and disrupts food production – one of the leading signs of the End Times. These forces make food hard to find – leading to even more unrest and violence.
End Times conflicts are by far the number one cause of hunger, and it’s especially cruel to children, who are clueless about the spiritual dynamics of humanity’s end. Children live in countries ravaged by violence as their state leaders work to take their place at the table of global dominance. The people in these countries are more than twice as likely to be malnourished, which undermines their health, their education, and their futures in discovering the Gospel message of the indwelling Life of Jesus Christ.
My wife and I sponsor three children to help combat the devastation of the pre-Rapture calamities ravaging these countries. We are active in developing one-on-one relationships with each other. All three of these kiddos call us “Opa” and “Oma.” While our efforts might not be “world-changing,” we know that the impact of the practical Gospel is real & responsive. Another way we assist in pre-rapture calamities is by providing spiritual, friendship, and psychological support to ministry leaders who live and administer the Gospel in the core epicenter of the headquarters of the coming Antichrist. The point is that we are proactive in what we preach.
Writing, producing media, and posting content about the End Times is the easy part. Developing relationships with the people reading or watching our productions is time-consuming but highly rewarding. For example, our short film “Through the Veil” is the most viewed and populated in Europe, more strategically, in the city hosting the European Union. Another example, our statistics reveal that Russia is one of our leading countries of most viewed and read publications. Both of these locations are significant geological areas noted in the End Times prophecies.
The authentic believers, the Body of Christ, need to be wide awake and more aware of the “signs” than ever before – alert, watchful, and vigilant, with one eye on the prophetic headlines and the other on the needs of those who are the first-string sufferers of the End Times birth pangs.
I believe that the Western culture, particularly America, is one of the more selfish, navel-gazing countries in the world. Westerners tend to waste their time deliberating on foods, diets, politics, fantasies, cartoons, movies, and other superficial things. When I scroll through social media feeds, I am appalled at the level of mindlessness posts and propagation of “things” that matter not to our Lord. And worse yet, the ambivalence to the obvious “signs” of the End Times. Some do a “Z-read” and then return to their obsession over getting a few more “hearts” for their opinionated postings. I then realized that this is to be the mission field for all online indwelt believers. Western thinkers are not only known for being ambivalent but frequently covertly confess they, indeed, are the people of Laodicea, lukewarm believers.
In my mind, there is nothing wrong with being on social media. It is horrid to be on social media without viewing it as a ministry. I often tell writers my golden secret. I start with using the illustration of an opened facet gushing forth water, Living Water. As long as the facet is open, defilement and other foreign cultural bacterium and beliefs cannot enter the spiritual plumbing system – our minds. If the facet is turned off, the rusting elements of the depraved thoughts of humanity begin to rust out the infrastructure of our ministries. In due time, we begin to write or post content that shows that we are no different than those we formerly were reaching out to. In the end, as indwelt believers, we become impotent in the transformational elements of the Gospel, which is designed to separate.
Let’s face it: when we heard and understood the Gospel via the Holy Spirit, it was typically under the urgency of being delivered from pain, suffering, loneliness, isolation, and overwhelming “feelings” of being separated from God, Jesus Christ, the Body of Believers, and the eternal Kingdom. Fact. We cannot just keep living our lives in the same old way that reflects the life of an unbeliever. We have been given a small window of opportunity to shake the foundation of lost souls regarding the future events that have present implications - as in our Lord using natural disasters, hunger, wars, hostile takeovers, and droves of other “signs” of the times. When we know that Christ is coming again to this earth and the ”why” He is, it should compel us to gather as many as possible before He gathers the Saints. Sadly, this is not the motive for most believers regarding their writings, productions, and postings.
So, what shall we do?
I might be a prophet type, but I am also an evangelist at heart. My prophecy focus is on this purpose. I sincerely desire that all who read my works increase in the Knowledge of the Holy God and, secondly, that the End Times publications will challenge readers to seek out the absolutes of the Bible, primarily the prophecies that dominate the Scriptures. But I am well aware knowledge is not enough. If not indwelt by Christ, that knowledge is only helpful to readers if it leads them to the Person of Truth, Jesus.
Therefore, based on my studies in Christ, here are a few items indwelt believers should do to be separated, or different, due to prophetic Knowledge.
Never blend the Gospel with lies: While we should minister in love, never highlight the love of God without the sting of conviction the Gospel presents. We live in an obsessed world of self-love. God’s love is important, but it is NOT the answer. Receiving the indwelling Life of Jesus is. People cannot formulate a need to be delivered without an overwhelming sense of separation from God. That is when the sting of the Gospel comes into play. Do NOT be afraid to tell unbelievers they WILL go to Hell if they refute Jesus as the only Way, Truth, and Life.
Refrain from judging others: It is tempting to personify an attitude of judgment when others reject your offer to lead them to Christ. This is when the love of God is most active. Your targeted audience should quickly realize that the only way to avoid the final Judgment of Christ is to be adopted by God through indwelling salvation. Absolutely NO judgment should come from the messenger OF the Gospel. Not one ounce. Judgment is reserved for Christ alone.
Demonstrate your response to life in Christ: Anyone worth their salt will test what you are presenting to them as Truth. With this testing usually comes hatred, bitterness, and animosity from their childhood forward. Expect it. It should be the object of your mission – to deliver them from these ideations through receiving Jesus Christ. If you are discussing prophecies, refrain from views and opinions – stick to making use of the prophecies to lead them to Christ. Avoid “debates” at all costs. Most indwelt believers know it is foolish to debate an unbeliever. Also, do not be afraid to tell your story.
Don’t opinionate - rejuvenate: People admire believers who will not get caught in the snare of debate they set before the Christian. Recently, in a three-hour discourse of guiding a leading atheist to Christ, after receiving Christ, he said You are the first Christian who stayed engaged with me until the end. You survived my hate & ungodly speech without wavering. You proved the love of God by being immovable in what you believe. Stephen, you are the real deal. Rejuvenation comes through staying engaged until the end. I not only practice this with leading others to Jesus, but I also practice this in enduring to the end that comes WITH the End Times.
Commit to an active ministry life: Keep the facet open. Crank it on high. Release the Living Water through your actions, speech, and beliefs - nonstop. Whether it is in your writing, talking, or posting, the mission should always be to lead the reader/viewer to a redeeming life of releasing the LIFE of Christ through their actions. That, of course, activates the primary mission of why we are here as indwelt believers: to gather as many as possible before He gathers up His Saints.
Finally, feed the needy: The most practical aspects of the Gospel begin with feeding, clothing, and administering the Gospel with our actions. For example, we have been reaching out to a widower across the street from our home. We take him meals, and treats, celebrate his birthday and a host of other acts of kindness. About once a month, I give him one of my books or one from another author in hopes of leading him to Christ. The modality is simple. If he eats our treats, maybe, if it is God’s will, he will eat from the Tree of Life - salvation. Giving people food without the milk of the Gospel only keeps them alive long enough to go to Hell. That is foolish to me. All missionary acts are “missional” unless the act of serving others leads them to the One who desires to give them the food of Life.
If you find yourself in a place of conviction – repent, refocus, and rejuvenate. Turn your placid, lukewarm tendencies into passionate messages of conviction and Truth. The old worldly ways of writing, speaking, and posting might need to come under the gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit so that you can begin cruising along the pathway of the ministry of Christ in you – a path ultimately leading others away from destruction.
When you make that choice, I am certain you will encounter one final “sign” at the conclusion of your life’s journey. Standing before Jesus Christ on that final day, hearing those words, Well done, My faithful servant. Then your ears will begin to ring as He shouts out, Welcome Home.
Reader, I distribute these articles to thousands of people. However, I don’t know if you are impacted by what you read unless you comment on the posts. My writings are not for “dump & go.” I am interested in connecting with you. Therefore, leave a comment to better engage in my mission. Thanks!
I am forever thankful for your guidance and friendship. I have saved this for future reference.
