JOHNNY’S GHOSTLY CONFIDENCE
For fear of the hunter of the souls, restless seekers for a global leader, Johnny found his new father with his eyes wide open. Like a window left open, a spirit of darkness consumed his body, mind, and spirit.
Having no idea what he just stepped into, Johnny was no longer a foreigner to the new world order. Mostly, he didn’t know better. On this morning, poor Johnny would scrub the stains & memories of his past while embracing a rain-darkened head that came down and rested on the dome of his existence.
The dark moon shed feathers of light as if molting Johnny’s conscience. He became deceived by the light side of darkness. On this morning, the eaves of Johnny’s life would drip with eternal darkness. A stench of placid lies came in through the window of his soul. He was beyond slamming it shut, but instead, he stood there, fingers gripping the edge of the frame of destruction. He closed his eyes in search of a heated possession and found it with bated breath. No longer would Johnny take refuge in the shelter of his empty home or confide in his bed by night. He had embraced the passion of monsters that tormented the souls of yesteryears. Johnny quickly heads to Angra’s home.
Angra: I like you, Johnny. I really do. You’ve been the face of this plan since the day I met you. The Chancellor has called you to oversee a period of unprecedented empirical growth. And on a more personal level, you’ve become a dear friend. Heck, our new lives started together after the great disappearance of the rebels. But unfortunately, friendship only means so much in today’s cutthroat new world order. We need a plan to step into a united force. We need to make our Chancellor proud.
Johnny: I am the “he” who will advance the kingdom of prosperity and peace. I am no longer afraid. Our Chancellor will rise to power. He will make Nero, Stalin, and Hitler look like schoolyard bullies. I will assist him in demanding total allegiance to his satanically inspired program and assist in deliberating the message of punishment to those who come against him.
Angra: Wow, your tone has changed. What happened?
Johnny: I have met the spirit of the Chancellor. One of his legend spirits has possessed my mortal soul. He gave his orders to me in the form of a map. He revealed that a King on a white horse is coming to take our Chancellors' kingdom. This is not to happen. Starting today, you work for me.
Angra: Excuse me! I don’t work for anyone, particularly you. You are yet a boy. You will take orders from me.
Johnny: I am the “he” that has been appointed to lead the masses to worship our leader. If you refute me, you refute him. Death shall knock at your door if you refuse my leadership. What say you?
Angra: I will not submit to a boy who arrogantly touts power. I am no man’s slave. I am my own master and deem you no longer the face of our plan.
Johnny: Have it your way. You are appointed unto your death. It was never ‘our’ plan. It is the plan of the great and mighty Chancellor. As of this moment, you are not in it.
As Johnny was walking back to his house, Angra’s home burst into flames. Angra came forth from the burning house consumed in flames. Johnny turned around and smiled. He stepped into his living room, and there appeared a dark translucent spirit being. You are now one of us. You have proven your loyalty to our leader. He is well pleased with you. It is time to meet your leader face-to-face. Are you ready?
Johnny went to pack a travel bag. The ghostly spirit stopped him.
You have no need to pack any of your belongings. From this day forward, you will be well cared for by our kind. Before we go, I have one question, do you hate your earthly father?
Without hesitation, Johnny said, “Yes.” The dark spirit reached over and touched Johnny’s shoulder. In the twinkle of an eye, both disappeared.
