#Culture. The Judas Generation.
I can assure you that Satan does not want the lukewarm believer, fake Christians, to identify the problem of fake loyalty & betrayal.
Lying helps people escape the uncomfortable reality of self-inflicted betrayal. Liars are professionals at manipulating others to gain a few coins to sell out the people they betrayed. In the end, they defend their betrayal until their guts are spilled on the ground of the Truth. - Phinney
It is amazing what 30 silver coins can buy. In Jesus’s case, his betrayer was able to purchase the murder of his master.
Has a supposed friend kissed you on the cheek, or a loved one who appeared by all given signs to be faithful and loyal, but yet in the end betrayed you? I know it sounds like treason - because it is. The “kiss of betrayal” is one of humanity’s oldest methods of assignation.
Allow me to answer that question for you. Yes. The odds are, if you are reading this article, you have had a supposed loved one betray you by using their artificial loyalty to hurt or destroy you. Or, maybe you are one of those betrayers. In either case, the act is one of the assignation methods of character or, at times, life.
Like many ministers of the Gospel, I have been betrayed with such “love” more times than I can count. While I have stories of the more threatening type, like someone threatening to kill you, the most common type is those who belly up to your table to gain your affection, get disappointed, then disappear from your life. The worse type is those who are kind and loyal in your presence and gossip about you when they turn their backs. In each case, Jesus would associate them with being sons or daughters of Judas.
While the emphasis of Jesus’s betrayal is associated with Judas, Jesus experienced betrayal from droves of people, including all His disciples except John – His beloved. Another familiar story is when Peter denied knowing Jesus in His time of need. Others included all of His disciples, outside John, who fled the scene of Calvary’s hill. And today, the masses continue to reject Jesus by adopting other gods and ideologies. Before detailing the present generation of Judases, let’s review the life of Judas Iscariot.
THE DEVIL WALKED WITH JESUS
The Word says that Judas was of the devil. Think about this. If Judas was indeed of the devil, he was either possessed by Satan or certainly by one of his legend demons. This means the devil was at Jesus’s side, attending to the business OF Jesus and the other disciples while aiming to sell Jesus like a piece of meat. Movies portray Judas struggling with his faithfulness, which ended in betrayal because of a weak moment. However, most theologians believe as I and that Judas was a “plant” by Satan possessing a man to usher Jesus unto death – from the beginning (John 13:27). And Jesus knew this – from the beginning.
How could Jesus tolerate a known spy within His inner circle?
Not to insult your intelligence, it was planned by God the Father. Judas was needed to bring Jesus to the Cross of Redemption. Jesus didn’t remove this spy but kept him in play until the sell-out was completed. God is known for using all kinds of evil to advance His will. Since evil does not and cannot come from God, He uses evil to direct the prophecies of good and not-so-good.
For those of you who don’t know the role Judas played within the group, he was the money keeper, the banker. Sad to say, most people who work with money can be bought with money. The love of money is the root of all evil. This certainly was the case for Judas. When the time came, Judas accepted an offer from the Sanhedrin, the banking power players of the Jews. The agreement was to kiss Jesus on the cheek to reveal the One who was his master to reveal the identity of Jesus. Of course, this is exactly how it played out. If you are familiar with the scriptures, Jesus predicted this at the Last Supper. In other words, this was no surprise to Jesus.
After the damage was done, Judas became overwhelmed with guilt and tried to return the ransom money to the Sanhedrin, which they refused, so Judas dropped the coins at their feet. After Satan left Judas’s possessed body, normal, natural guilt filled his soul. According to Matthew 27:1-10, Judas was wrought with guilt and committed suicide by hanging himself. This proves that all people of betrayal ends in guilt, condemnation, and at times, suicide. This might be the explanation for the high rate of suicide in our culture today.
Now, get this. The returned ransom money was used by the Sanhedrin to purchase a plot in the “Field of Blood” for the burial of Judas. Wasn’t that kind of them? Peter said in Acts 1:18-19:
Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out. And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem so that the field was called in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.
BETRAYAL BRINGS SALVATION
This is the most important historical notation of all world history. Amid the betrayal Jesus suffered, this very betrayal led to an open door to the salvation of humanity. I agree. It didn’t end well for Judas, nor does it for any betrayer. However, this single act sealed the redemption deal for all who chose Jesus – from that day forward. If you are one of those, who reads from the Gnostic Gospel of “Judas,” you are partaking in treason. The writers of this fake “Gospel” attempted to sympathize with Judas to justify “Christian antisemitism” – hatred toward the Jews. In fact, this historical fake Gospel is where the present global antisemitism was born. Leave it to the devil to make the simple truth regarding betrayal something to excuse and qualify hatred toward God’s chosen people. To that, I say, damned devil.
We need to keep it simple. Jesus chose Judas to be one of the twelve disciples. Yes, Judas’s story ended in betrayal, becoming known as the one who murdered the world’s Savior, closing his story with his guts pouring out, and being noted as displaying one of the hideous forms of suicide. Why? Someone had to do the job. Jesus already knew in advance that Judas was predetermined to be unredeemable. Such is the case today. Jesus knows every soul who chooses Him AND those that cover their fake loyalty with betrayal OF Him in the end. One of the primary differences between Jesus and the smartest betrayers in Christendom is – that Jesus knows if you betray Him in the end before you start your journey with Him. The most self-deceiving human cannot “outsmart” the One who can determine authenticity before the lie is spoken.
THE JUDAS GENERATION
It is easy to see that the world is filled with the same betrayal Judas suffered. The evil that possessed Judas is alive and well today. Since demonic spirits do not experience death as humans, these spirits jump from generation to generation to accomplish the same demise Judas expressed during his time on earth. While Judas lies in the core of Hades (Hell), the spirit that controlled his betrayal is working within fake disciples globally. Any “believer” who accepts portions of Truth while dismissing the full Truth is a betrayer. These are fake Christians that “walk” with Jesus while having betrayal within their mortal being. The way we discern or identify them is in their habitual acts of betraying fellow disciples as well as Jesus Himself. A keynote is during Jesus’s betrayal; the Scriptures do not verify that any fellow disciples decerned that Judas was of the devil. They probably assumed that because Jesus selected him to be one of the twelve, all the disciples were to be trusted. As we know today, looking back on history, we see this was a horrid assumption.
As I have told believers through the years, don’t trust every self-proclaimed Christian you encounter. We live in an age where the masses claim to be “Christian.” Since Satan has redefined what being “Christian” is, most self-proclaimed Christians are as fake as plastic fruit. Satan has duped the world into thinking that all who believe in Jesus’s existence are Christians. I have news for these kinds of “believers.”
You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! (James 2:19)
Demons believe AND shudder because they are well aware of the power of Jesus through indwelling Life. In fact, I believe demons have a more relevant belief system of Jesus’s authenticity than frail humans. Demons know, believe, and shudder because of the impact Truth can have on their mission. Humans don’t know, disbelieve, and refuse to shudder at the magnitude of Jesus as Truth. How stupid is that? I can tell you the result of that kind of stupidity – humanity and its culture will slip into the actions Judas demonstrated – an attempt to murder Jesus Christ again.
How can a minister, friend, and “loyal” worker of many years delude into such twisted betrayal? Easy, these people are at the end of their betrayal cycle. That is the irony of betrayal. The person thinks they are one of Jesus’s closest disciples while hosting a spirit that deludes through a slow fade. Meaning most betrayers are clueless about being betrayers until it is too late. In this, you will see a great apostasy in the end times. Sadly, all of these fake Christians are impotent at identifying that they have been listening to a demon over that of the indwelling Spirit of Christ.
I can assure you that Satan does not want the lukewarm believer, fake Christians, to identify this problem. That is how deception works. Deception is not only a state of being lied to by self and others; it is duping the person into thinking they are aligned with Jesus when they are His worst enemy. Ironically, they don’t discover this reality until their guts are spilled onto the ground of immovable Truth.
My sadness is in fully knowing that this article will have zero impact on betrayers. The truths contained in this essay will do a flyby. They will make up every excuse known to humanity to avert the impact of this truth. So why write the article? To warn authentic believers to stay alert and not trust everyone who claims to be a disciple of Jesus, a “Christian.” While I believe this truth can save those who are playing around with betrayal, the individuals who are rooted in betrayal, honestly, are likely to hit the “delete” button, minimally, argue their position and logic of betraying their fellow “brothers and sisters” in Christ & the “why” they adhere to portions of the full Truth that could set them free.
What betrayers do unto you, or you as a betrayer do unto others, believe Jesus, they do unto Him. Humanity can lie to themselves and others; however, if they lie to Jesus, there is a price to pay. I can assure you; it is far more than 30 pieces of silver.

Hi Stephen
Unfortunately many of these betrayers are in the pulpits of the Laodicean church. How do we as indwelt believers be a light to the congregation when being shut down by the “love everyone “ agenda?
