GIANTS: #8 The Giant Called Jealousy.
The Giant of Jealousy knows this adjective has both a righteous and unrighteous side. His mission is to advance the evil vile bend of what was initially a Holy proclamation of the Living God.
You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
(Exodus 20:5-6)
The Giant of Jealousy knows that this adjective has both a righteous and unrighteous side. His mission is to advance the evil vile bend of what was initially a Holy proclamation of the Living God.
Seriously, God would be so brass to pass the fathers’ sins down to their children’s children? Count on it. There is a Biblical reason!
Generally speaking, jealousy is a calculated belief that what another possesses could be yours. It is rooted in a self-perception of failure that you have missed the mark of achievements or advantages others have successfully obtained. It activates a fiercely protective instinct to protect self-implemented “rights.” What belongs to another belongs to you. Those who suffer from the lies of this Giant are people who rarely admit that they are jealous of others because it will inevitably add to their insecurities of self. Hence, they will hate others over the sin of comparison - proving that jealousy is a slow poison that destroys relationships.
Frequently jealousy involves sexual infidelity, immorality, adultery, fornication, and sex identification. An example. If young boys become obsessed with the benefits of being a girl, many change their gender identification to that of the opposite sex. It is the sin of jealousy at its best. A cultural historian friend says it this way. The sin of jealousy almost always turns sexual in nature.
Another example is Common Core Education. CCE has been adopted into most states as the common form of patronizing the jealousy of deficient children. The demonic ideology equalizes the children by dumbing down the smart and assisting in comforting the slower children by blocking the view of high standards in education. The end result is reforming education to advance emotive learning versus the old standard of working hard for what you know. Simply put, it is an attempt to marginalize the growing problem of childhood jealousy.
Once this individualized sin morphs into a culture, it is guaranteed to land in the political arena. The governance of socialism is deeply rooted in this ideation. To remind us, socialism is based on what is yours is mine – share it with me. The day is gone when socialism was an identity marker of politics. Today, it defines the primary culture of humanity. It now denotes an espousing of common public ownership of the economy, education, moral beliefs, spirituality, and even the parameters of Truth itself. Since most are inept at thinking independently, shared worldviews, have become the dominant one-world think tank. The bottom line is that society adopts the most predominant views of the masses. Concluding that the sin of jealousy and socialism are twin brothers sucking from the same breast. You should understand by now that Common Core Education will be the historical venue to cement a one-world socialistic governing system.
A BIBLICAL VIEW OF JEALOUSY
The Greek meaning for jealous is to boil within. Wait, there is more. The Greek version depicts a smiling man who is boiling from within. In this, we discover the most dangerous expression of humanity. Judas, the betraying disciple of Jesus, was identified as zeloo, to have a warm regard toward betrayal and covetous envy in a zealous manner. Over time, zeloo, evolved into the Latin word zelosus. Early Latin associated this label with suspecting rivalry in love, troubled by worries that one might have been replaced in someone's affections, and suspicious of a lover's or spouse's fidelity. Later the original meaning evolved into today’s view, feeling resentful or angered toward someone for a perceived advantage or success, material or otherwise.
The modern Hebrew root word for jealous is qannâ', קַנָּא which means “to compare.” However, the Pictorial Hebrew, which I study, says something much different. Alef = strength of the first leader. Gimel – to lift up. Dalet = the pathway to enter. When the three are put together, we have The first strong leader is to be lifted up to provide a pathway for all to enter. What possibly could this have to do with the word jealousy?
I am about to make things really simple. Jesus said I am the Alpha (Greek) and Omega (Greek). Hebrew reads I am the Alef and Delet. Defining Jesus is the first leader who provides the pathway in the end. The “why” Alef and Delet are descriptive words to define jealousy is not complex. Anyone demonically or otherwise who makes claims to be their own leader or refutes Jesus’s being the pathway is deserving of death, minimally removal. On the righteous side of jealousy, it is humanity or a demon world claiming to replace Jesus Christ AS the Way, Truth, and Life. The one sin that chastises all to the pit of Hell.
God is the only One who is deserving of the privilege of being jealous. When any human, demon, or angelic being suffers from jealousy, they border on blasphemy of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When God said He was a jealous God, when others compare themselves to Him, He obligates Himself to pass the sins of the fathers onto the children. This irrevocably explains the condition of the later hateful generation before Jesus shows the Father’s jealousy in the End Times.
Jealousy demands obedience – righteously or otherwise. In our passage when it states that showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My commandments isn’t the love we must magnify, for this is the result of those who keep My commandments. God’s jealousy is activated in disobedience. If anyone understands the impossibility of obedience to the Law of God, it is Jesus. In this, He provided a pathway for all to walk in obedience to the Father’s commandments by the accomplishments of Jesus fulfilling the Law for us. We then release the Law through us, already fulfilled, in and through our mortal being. Through these actions, we then can inherit the love of God to love God, which keeps us from causing God to get jealous. It’s a human choice – live a self-as-god life; we make God jealous. We go to Hell. Live a released Life of Christ from within – we activate Exodus 20:6, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
I encounter smart, well-educated believers who are jealous on a regular basis. Most have a smile on the outside, while my spiritual gifting sees them green with envy. Oddly, they interpret their envy as an opinionated perception. How do I know this? It is as basic as 1 Corinthians 3:3;
For you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?
The key is hidden in the word strife. Honestly, strife is a simple word. It means to quarrel, wrangle words, debate, and be void of Truth. Most of my readers and viewers know I will not engage in debates. Bluntly, I refuse to debate idiots. I know that the definition of an idiot is an intellectually disabled person; however, I enjoy the Biblical version – a foolish person. A foolish person, according to Hebrew, is a fatted person of knowledge that is stupid or silly. One of my mottos is Anyone who debates a jealous person, travels in circles of stupid people. My motto comes from Proverbs 10:19, When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
Jealous people are foolish people. Avoid them at all costs. Warning, most jealous people travel in power circles – they belly up to power to get power. They also feed off other performance-based people. Be careful because the lion’s share of them will use your views as a weapon against you. Wisdom: if they are experts at twisting the Truth, Jesus, why wouldn’t they be experts at twisting your words? While jealous people might be admired by the professional world of liars, in God’s eyes, they are fools. Finally, jealous people gather “followers” to prove their self-manufactured views.
Jealousy, envy, the sin of comparison, or whatever you want to call it, all boil down to attention obsession. Those who live within its walls are committed to stealing the attention of others to increase their popularity demonically. This is a gig Satan has been conducting or acting out since the day the Father tossed him from Heaven – always trying to steal the glorious thunder of God. My “ouch” conclusion is that jealous people who refuse to repent act as Satanists in church clothing.
By now, you should see that this Giant is the greenest of all. This jolly green Giant is suffocating in envy. He wants to share his suffocation with you. His jealousy destroys relationships, destroys your identity in Christ, your Body Life connections, and worst, your walk and talk in the Spirit. This Giant is the instigator of the Deeds of the Flesh Paul noted to the Galatian church.
THE DEADLY GANG MEMBERS
Meet the deadly gang members that follow this Giant day in and day out. I call them “The Dead Deed Gang.” Here are their names:
Now the works of the flesh (gang) are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)
Let’s get this straight. Those who replicate the actions of these gang members will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I didn’t say it. The Holy Spirit said this in and through Paul. You might think the Grace of Christ covers these gang members. Really? Are you calling Paul a liar? Are you willing to blasphemy the Holy Spirit? Grace only covers sins of repentance. Yes. If the Spirit reveals these gang members have outpowered you, and you’re willing to repent, sure, Grace will do what Grace does – redeem you. However, if you or I am one of these jealous “believers,” foolishness will debate the most obvious warnings in the Scriptures.
It's time to put this Giant in the grave of condemnation. Start by admitting that human or demonic jealousy is a sin. Enter into prayer with an attitude of humility and repentance. Accept Christ’s forgiveness from within. Reaffirm your identity in the Life and mannerisms of Christ. Openly accept the love of God the Father immediately. Now the tough one, consider going to others you are certain you practiced this sin upon, and tell them how wrong you were. After that, when this Giant tosses a breadcrumb in front of you, take that leg-of-lamb Jesus is offering you at that moment. I promise. It will be better tasting and far more nutritious for your Life in Christ.
