THINGS ARE HEATING UP
Hours after the bowl of wrath from the Hebrew God turned fresh water into blood, Johnny stood in the middle of the bustling town square, the sun high in the sky as the clock approached noon. He had just finished his morning meeting with Apollyon and was looking forward to a quiet lunch. As he made his way to his favorite café, a sudden, eerie silence fell over Jerusalem. The usual chatter and laughter ceased, replaced by an unsettling stillness.
Johnny looked up and saw a vision that made his heart race. The Hebrew God, in angelic form, majestic and awe-inspiring, stood above the sun, holding a golden bowl filled with divine wrath. With a solemn expression, the Hebrew God poured the contents of the bowl onto the sun. Instantly, the sun’s light intensified, and a fierce heat began to radiate down upon the earth.
He watched birds fall from the sky, people sweltering under the heat, and the earths plants weltering.
The temperature soared, and the people around Johnny began to feel the scorching heat. Sweat poured from their brows, and their skin reddened under the relentless sun. The once vibrant town square turned into a scene of chaos as people sought refuge from the unbearable heat.
Johnny watched in horror as the townsfolk, unable to escape the searing rays, began to curse the Hebrew God. Their cries of anger and desperation filled the air, starkly contrasting the reverence and awe Johnny felt. He knew this was another divine act of judgment, a reminder of the power and authority of the Hebrew God.
As the heat continued to intensify, Johnny fell to his knees, praying for mercy and understanding but his prayers were ignored. He knew that this moment was an eternal judgement, a call to recognize the sovereignty of the Hebrew God. Despite the suffering around him, Johnny remained focused on the mission Apollyon gave him, hoping that Apollyon would come to see the truth and turn his heart back to the divine. However, he knew this was not likely to happen.
Johnny, drenched in sweat and desperation, picked up his phone and dialed Apollyon’s number.
The line crackled as Apollyon’s voice, deep and menacing, answered. “What is it, Johnny?” he growled. Johnny’s voice trembled as he explained the latest plague from the Hebrew God, describing the fierce heat that was scorching the earth. Apollyon listened, then let out a chilling laugh. “Another plague? How amusing,” he sneered. “Do not be distracted by these divine theatrics. Your task remains the same. Focus on preparing for the battle of Armageddon. The time is near, and we must be ready to face whatever comes our way.” With that, the line went dead, as if it was fried, leaving Johnny to grapple with the weight of his mission amidst the chaos.
Johnny stood frozen in horror as he watched the scene unfold at the café. The once lively and bustling place had turned into a nightmare. People were fainting left and right, their bodies succumbing to the unbearable heat. Some were on the brink of death, their breaths shallow and labored. The intense rays of the sun caused objects to melt before Johnny’s eyes; plastic chairs warped and deformed, and the ice in drinks evaporated instantly. The air was thick with the smell of burning and the cries of those in agony. Johnny’s heart pounded in his chest as he realized the full extent of the plague’s devastation, a chilling reminder of the Hebrew God’s wrath.
Johnny quickly made his way back to his penthouse. While the air conditioning was laboring to work, Johnny sat in front of his monitors, his eyes glued to the screens as he anxiously watched the news coverage. The anchor’s voice was filled with urgency as she reported on the unprecedented heatwave sweeping across the globe. Images flashed of cities in chaos, people collapsing in the streets, and emergency services overwhelmed. The camera panned to various locations around the world, all suffering under the same relentless, ravaging heat. Johnny’s heart sank as he realized the full extent of the plague’s reach. This was not an isolated event; the entire earth was under the grip of this divine judgment. The magnitude of the crisis was staggering, and Johnny knew that the world would never be the same again.
Johnny knelt by his bedside, tears streaming down his face as he clasped his hands in desperate prayer.
He wanted to repent for the masses of the world, to plead for mercy on their behalf, but deep down, he knew it was a hopeless endeavor. The weight of the world’s sins felt crushing, and the relentless heat outside was a stark reminder of the divine judgment that had befallen humanity. As he wept, his sobs bounced off the walls of the empty room, a poignant testament to his anguish. Johnny’s heart ached with the realization that the world as he knew it was coming to an end, and that all the warnings that his father warned him was unfolding before his eyes. Johnny felt alone, knowing his prayers are too late - the God of the Hebrew people is winning hands down.
As the news feeds were unfolding, another bowl was observed being poured over the throne of Apollyon and Lucifaria. Johnny knew time has run out.
