JOHNNY FACES THE WRATH OF APOLLYON
As Johnny reread his journal entry about his recent dream, he knew instantly that he was faced with a horrific task—he must report his dream to Apollyon. While paralyzing fear flooded his soul, he drummed up enough courage to set a meeting with Apollyon.
As Johnny headed toward Apollyon’s throne seat in the Holy of Holies room, his body became drenched in sweat. He entered the room, which was filled with the ten kings of the nations, Apollyon, and Lucifaria himself.
The room was filled with a haze of dark blue shadows cast by Lucifaria's presence. Behind the gold-plated table stood Apollyon. Johnny approached the bench with as much reverence as he could muster. Apollyon speaks:
Apollyon: Johnny, for what does our Prophet have to report.
Johnny: I must report a vision I received last night.
Lucifaria: I have no recall of imparting a vision to you, Johnny. Is this a self-manipulative vision made up by your own imagination, or has this Hebrew God found His way into your mortal mind?
Apollyon: Speak to your master, Johnny.
Johnny began trembling in fear. He knew that it was indeed the Hebrew God that revealed such a vision. Johnny found himself summoned by the spirit of darkness that lived within him. His dream—the one that had haunted him since the night before—had taken on a new urgency. For in his fear, he knew he was obligated to reveal the dream of the Seven Angels of the Plagues and the meaning behind each warning.
The world leader, Apollyon, awaited Johnny’s response. His eyes, sharp as falcon’s talons, bore into Johnny’s soul. He became a man of increased power since Johnny last seen him. The authority of his manner now resonates across the continents each time he speaks.
“Johnny,” Apollyon said, his voice like polished steel, “you claim to have seen visions. Speak.”
Johnny cleared his fear-filled throat, his palms clammy. “Master Apollyon,” he began, “I am but a humble Prophet in your vast domain. Yet, in my sleep, I stood on the precipice of eternity. Seven angels appeared before me, each bearing a plague—a divine reckoning.”
Lucifaria: I know of these angels. I have seen them from a distance. You intrigue me, Johnny. Exactly, what did you see?
Johnny said, “The first angel carried a vial of pestilence. It will sweep across the land, sparing none. Disease and suffering will grip humanity.” Apollyon leaned forward. “And what is the remedy this angel stated?” “Repentance,” Johnny replied. “A turning back to the Source of life.”
“Repentance,” Lucifaria said with laughter. Tell me more, little Johnny.
Johnny quickly replied, “The second angel, revealed a sea turned crimson—a symbol of humanity’s violence and greed. Blood cries out from the earth.” “And what was this angel’s logic of justice?” Apollyon asked. “The Righteous Justice of the Hebrew God,” Johnny said, “The angel said it is God’s measurement of discipline upon the earth for neglecting His commands.”
Lucifaria: INTERESTING! Is there more?
Yes, master, replied Johnny. “The third angel intensified the sun until it scorched the earth. False idols crumbled, and hearts withered.” “Who does this angel say we must worship?” Apollyon demanded. “Truth,” Johnny replied. “Seek the truth of Jesus Christ, who this angel speaks of being the Son of the Hebrew God.”
Lucifaria filled his lungs with air, and his belly burned with fire. He pointed his head toward the Heavens and blew forth devastating flames of rage. He then speaks:
I hate this man who eternity calls Yeshua. He is a liar and a thief who connives ways to take away my power. The mere mention of His name enrages me. Soon, Johnny, I will call Him to war. I and my loyal subjects will defeat him. Is there more to your silly little dream?
Certainly, Johnny said. “The fourth angel wore a blindfold. It spoke of lies, half-truths, and deceit. Accusing all of us here on this Earth as being dark and deceptive.” “What does this angel say is the way to dispel darkness?” Apollyon, the world leader, asked. “With light,” Johnny said. “Transparency, integrity, and unwavering faith in the Son of the Hebrew God.”
There is more, my master, Johnny said. The Hebrew God will send Locusts, swarms of them,” Johnny admitted. “Doubt and despair will devour the hope of all those that live. Plus, the fifth angel’s eyes held flames of determination.” “And what does this angel say will sustain the people?” Apollyon pressed. “Hope,” Johnny said. “However, the angel said only the 144,000 pure bloodline Jews will survive the descent of the locust.”
Apollyon: What lies did the last two angels speak?
“The sixth angel said the Euphrates will dry up,” Johnny explained. “Boundaries of human understanding will be shattered. Chaos will rule the Earth.” “Did the sixth angel offer a bridge for this chasm?” the World Leader asked. “Yes,” Johnny said. “But only for the 10,000 pure Jews from each of the 12 Tribes of Judah.”
Apollyon and Lucifaria began to be filled with rage. The fire was seeping from the mouth of the great dragon, Lucifaria. The room became filled with smoldering rage. What about the seventh angel, what did he say? asked Lucifaria.
The Seventh Angel was the most powerful one among them,” Johnny whispered, “He held a trumpet. He called it the Trumpet of Judgment, and it loomed over me like a radiant cloud.” “Did he claim this is our fate?” Apollyon’s eyes bore into his. “Choose love,” Johnny said. “For the love that comes forth from the pure bloodline Jews conquers all.”
For a moment, the room fell silent. Apollyon leaned back in the throne chair, considering Johnny’s words. Apollyon was filled with rage, fully knowing that his Prophet had indeed heard of the Hebrew God. “Johnny, leave this Holy place immediately before I devour you with my rage,” the World Leader affirmed.
Johnny left the Third Temple, his heart heavy but relieved it was all over. The Seven Angels’ message pierced his heart within him. As he stepped into the sunlight, he wondered if the world leader would soon destroy him. With relentless doubt, hoped that the Hebrew God would have compassion on him.
Johnny looked down at his hand, which was marked with 666. The mark began to bleed and burn. He wondered, Where the words of my father eminent?
