#20 Culture | Transgenders in Holy Clothing
Dr. Stephen Phinney: Blending immorality with the Holy Spirit is a serious transgression that borders on blasphemy, undermining the sanctity and purity of the Holy Spirit's work.
What is in culture always ends up in the pulpit - one way or another.
What is prevalent in culture often finds its way into the pulpit, reflecting the fading lukewarm church of Laodicea. As cultural norms and issues evolve, they shape and influence the messages and lifestyles shared by religious leaders. This connection allows the church to base Christianity on personal choices. While this integration can sedate the authentic Gospel, it also underscores the need for discernment from true Bible-believing members. Ultimately, the pulpit should serve as a megaphone between the eternal teachings of God the Father and the ever-changing landscape of human society.

GAY PASTORS
Thanks to the Hippy era, where sex became the Sexual Revolution, many became politicians, preachers, and gay rights activists.
Mixing immorality with preaching the Word of God poses a significant danger to the integrity and authenticity of the original Gospel. It undermines the trust and credibility of religious leaders, creating a disconnect between their teachings and actions. This leads them to two decisions: don’t preach the immovable Truth or rewrite the Word of God to match their morbid beliefs.
This inconsistency can lead to confusion, disillusionment, and a weakened faith among believers. The Bible calls for spiritual leaders to be above reproach and to live lives that exemplify the teachings of the Old Testament prophets and that of Yeshua. When immorality infiltrates the pulpit, it distorts the message of the Gospel and can cause harm to the spiritual well-being of the congregation - frequently turning the church into Laodicea, or what we call today, the Woke Church. Upholding moral integrity is essential to faithfully representing God's Word and the Life of Yeshua.
That’s what happens when unsaved pastors lead our churches!
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (ESV): "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
It has been noted that this passage is the most ignored by woke pastors and teachers. Go figure!
Yeshua warned us what would happen if we deleted one word from His Holy Bible. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19)
If this is true, and it is, the lion’s share of “believers” today is in deep trouble.
Can you guess how many Bible translations have been written to support modern cultures and their ideologies? We counted them, and the list is long.
Woke Believers Are Cowardly & Detestable
Revelation 21:8 (ESV): "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
Those who are afraid to teach the immovable truths of the Bible struggle with the fear of rejection, criticism, or societal backlash. Yet, the essence of faith calls for courage and steadfastness in upholding God's Word, which requires authentic salvation and a transformed life. If the Bible students do not have a born-again experience in Christ, they WILL merge their sin habits into their preaching ideologies.
Teaching these timeless, immovable truths with conviction and love is essential for nurturing spiritual growth and offering a deeper understanding of God's will. When we boldly proclaim the unchanging principles of Scripture, we fulfill our calling to be faithful stewards of His message, guiding others toward a life anchored in divine truth and grace.
YES | THE GAY JESUS MOVEMENT IS REAL
Sadly, this movement strikes at the core of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 12:31-32 (ESV): "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
Blending immorality with the Holy Spirit is a serious transgression that borders on blasphemy, undermining the sanctity and purity of the Holy Spirit's work. This act not only distorts the true message of the Gospel but also disrespects the divine nature of the Spirit. Such actions will lead to spiritual corruption and a profound disconnect from God's immovable TRUTH. It is crucial for believers to uphold the integrity of authentic faith in Christ, honoring the Holy Spirit with lives that reflect righteousness and holiness, as any deviation can tread dangerously close to blasphemy - if not crosses the line.
I am of the belief that those who merge an immoral lifestyle with real Christianity are not truly indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
This blending of incompatible identity markers and behaviors undermines the power of the Spirit and contradicts the core teachings laid out by Yeshua. True indwelling by the Holy Spirit is evidenced by a life committed to righteousness, integrity, and spiritual growth, reflecting the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in Scripture. A lifestyle that embraces immorality stands in opposition to the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit and fails to demonstrate genuine redemption from an immoral lifestyle to that of LIFE in Christ.
For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:4)
Defending immorality is a sin in and of itself. Blending immorality with the personhood of Yeshua is, well… is setting themselves up for condemnation by the Almighty.
Preserve the holiness of Yeshua and His Father by refuting all worldly movements that rise against the holy knowledge of God. Stand firm in your faith IN Christ, upholding the divine Biblical truths and teachings that have been revealed through the Scriptures. By remaining steadfast and vigilant, you honor the sanctity and purity of God's Word, ensuring that His eternal wisdom and grace continue to guide and enlighten weakened believers in a world filled with conflicting ideologies.
Love and truth are like peas and carrots, inseparable.
Great truths here indeed that should wake up everyone to evaluate and test what is being presented to them from the pulpit against the Word of God.
