WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES | WARNING
As Spurious, Johnny, was awakened by his implant, all of the monitors were crazed with activity. A news flash was on every screen. The World Council of Churches refutes the recent speech of the new World Chancellor’s Vise Chancellor of Religious Affairs.  Johnny was not worried, for he knew that the self-proclaimed Christians left behind from the Rapture were liberal and needed a little nudging.
As Johnny was making his way to the office of Apollyon, suddenly, one of his staff members burst into the hall with a crazed look in his eyes.
JOHNNY: Slow down, fella. What is wrong?
STAFF/ABRAXAS: Just go look…Just go look…Go outside and look.
Johnny made his way to the window. Stunned in silence, he had no idea what was happening. All he knew was the sky, and mountains were burning with brimstone. Instantly he had a flash memory of words his father told him in his youth. The whole land burned out with brimstone. Johnny quickly put these thoughts behind him.
ABRAXAS: What is going on? Why is the sky on fire, and why are the mountains beginning to sink into the earth?
JOHNNY: Wow, look at that sky, Abraxas. It's like it's on fire.
ABRAXAS: Yeah, Mr. Spurious. It's like we're watching brimstone falling from the heavens.
JOHNNY: It's strangely beautiful, isn't it? The way the colors blend and swirl...
ABRAXAS: It is. But it's also a bit unsettling. It's not something you see every day.
JOHNNY: True. It makes you realize how small we are in the grand scheme of the world of Lucifaria. He is such a master of displaying his majesty, isn’t he?
ABRAXAS: I guess so. But what if it is the Hebrew God revealing His anger?
Johnny was instantly incensed with anger. A dark spirit rose up within him as he rebuked Abraxas. Telling him never to speak of this Hebrew God again. Abraxas cowers back into his office cubical. Â Â
As Johnny entered Apollyon’s office, two demon spirits were arguing, both trembling with fear. One claimed they had angered the Hebrew God, while the other was touting Lucifaria was revealing his power. Johnny instantly turned toward Apollyon and began to speak.
APPOLYON: Good morning, Spurious. I've been looking at the World Council of Churches reports. The global situation seems to be spiraling out of control.
JOHNNY: Yes, it's a challenging time indeed. The economic instability, environmental issues, religious fighting, and social unrest are causing widespread concern. Sir, even the earth is groaning.
APPOLYON: We need to address this - today. We can't let fear and chaos rule. We need to show leadership and take decisive action.
JOHNNY: Absolutely. We should start by addressing the most pressing issues. Perhaps we can convene a global summit with the World Council of Churches to discuss these matters.
APOLLYON: That's a good idea. We need to bring everyone to the table. It's time for unity and cooperation, not division and conflict. Spurious, it is imperative that all global religious leaders receive Lucifaria’s mark. For without this mark, ultimately, you will have to put them to death – one by one. Do you understand?
JOHNNY: Yes, sir. I'll start making the arrangements. In the meantime, we should also communicate with the public regarding the brimstone. They need to know your perspective.
APOLLYON: Agreed. Let's draft a speech. Tell them it is a result of the poor climate management from previous generations. We need to reassure the people that we're doing everything we can to restore order and stability.
JOHNNY: I'll get right on it. Together, we can navigate through this chaos.
After Johnny left the office, Apollyon flipped his chair around to look out the window. Above the mountain in the distance, he saw seven angels hovering over the peak – each holding a bowl filled with fire. Apollyon was certain that war was soon to break out. Before he could make a note to contact his military advisor, the Heavens began to speak.
The sky was a canvas of obsidian, the sun hidden behind an ominous veil. Suddenly, a brilliant streak of light tore through the smoky darkness, a fiery comet descending from the heavens. It was as if the gates of the celestial realm had been flung open, and brimstone was raining down upon the earth.
Each piece of brimstone was a glowing ember, burning with an intensity that turned the cool of the day into a blistering scorch. They fell like divine tears, each one a tiny inferno that lit up the sky with a terrifying scream of death. The air was filled with the acrid scent of sulfur, a potent reminder of the celestial firestorm unfolding above.
As they neared the ground in front of Apollyon’s office building, the pieces of brimstone exploded into brilliant showers of sparks, painting the landscape with their incandescent glow. The earth trembled under the impact, each explosion a symphony of sound that echoed through the silent morning hours.
It was a spectacle of awe and fear, a display of celestial power that was both mesmerizing and terrifying. It was a morning that turned to a night of brimstone and fire, a darkened day when heaven and earth seemed to collide. Apollon knew he was outgunned.
Within a few moments, the firestorm ceased. Apollyon made his way over to Computer Central to contact Lucifaria. Before he could make contact, a powerful, dark, translucent spirit appeared in his office and began to speak with a thunderous voice.
LUCIFARIA: Apollyon, we have angered the Hebrew God. On this day, He has declared war on me and my people. As you know, He will send His Son soon. You and Spurious must act quickly. Fulfill all that I have commanded of you. It is imperative that all humans receive my mark immediately or I will display my anger. Soon I will release Aeshma, my demon of destruction. Â Â Â
Immediately, a horrid dark voice overpowered the office.
AESHMA: Hear me, mortals! I am the Demon of Destruction, the harbinger of chaos. Your world, so meticulously built, so carefully nurtured, stands on the precipice of oblivion. The time of reckoning is upon you. Your towers will crumble, your cities will burn, and all that you hold dear will be reduced to ashes. This is the dawn of destruction, the end of all things. Brace yourselves, for I am about to unleash chaos to remove all the resisters who dare not show loyalty to Lucifaria!
Johnny watched the activities taking place in Apollyon’s office on one of his monitors. He realized that the most powerful man in the world was nothing more than a puppet. Disrespect filled his mind. A small seed of disdain began to control Johnny’s mind. Â
